The coronavirus in Nigeria is more than the recorded cases.... Because, only when somebody begin to express symptoms for covid19 before he/she will now report for a test.. ..

But prior to that, the person must have had contacts and handshakes and must have held a currency and used it to buy something and the spread keeps going forward....

My uncommon sense is that, the government should come out to tell us the truth about their planning and efforts and what they need and what they feel they should do to aid the treatment and not the spread....

Because, when they indirectly complained about ventilators, people volunteered to repair some and companies even make up efforts to build new ones.... and I am sure that ventilator issues is getting tackled...

All hospital and clinics, should mandate their staff to wear full PPE, when treating any patient that comes for treatment.

The private healthcare sector is completely exposed to this pandemic without the tools and with scant capacity to fight it due to the monopoly of resources by the centre. How are we going to win this war this way. Very soon the NCDC will be completely overwhelmed in every way and by the time they react it will be too late.

In other countries the NCDC equivalents are referees not players. Why are things always different in Nigeria. If they think they can centralise the Covid 19 battle the way they centralise law enforcement in Nigeria then they have something serious coming.

Concluded our therapeutic studies as to what stands the best chance of working against Covid 19 so we are ready for the virus. What is left is to find a prophylaxis for our people on essential services and our relations on the frontline in various medical institutions. Not waiting for any government that is always behind the curve.

Coronavirus is real, but with hot water every morning and every evening the virus will be difficult to establish itself in your pharynx.

Always gaggle hot water and then drink it. For me I add garlic, ginger, and tumeric in the boiling water. Try to be doing this at least once in two days, and especially when you go out and meet people, on reaching your house, this should be the first thing to do.

Grace!
Really nice one. Cheers!

Lagos is truly the epicentre

If PPE have been compulsory for about a month then how did the staff still contact the virus?

it is almost impossible to avoid body fluids such as sweat, activities such as touching, grasping and handling objects aka formites which are 100% responsible for the spread.

The NCDC should collect samples from all private hospitals in Lagos State for testing. This is because most cases are related to private hospitals, most times the people are not even aware they have the virus.

How long? How much longer are we going to keep fighting this virus? Are we going to spend the rest of the year living like this?

SOME people don't believe that Coronavirus exist. Some others say COVID19 is a political affair in Nigeria aimed at causing hardship for the poor.

My heart goes to all persons in the frontline fighting to prevent the spread of the virus.

To the unbelievers, CORONAVIRUS IS REAL.

What is Real when Reality itself is an illusion. The virus is a mutating agent in the hands of the new world order whose duty now is to reduce population and reset the planet to 5D Earth status using 5G spetrum of frequency antanae network of Things.

Stop sounding as if people who doubt the virus doubt existence of deads and the fear of death.

We just fuckkng saying virus or not, it is 5G induced resonance frequency generated Nanovirus designed to kill. It is not a natural virus, we do not even know what is natural anymore, thanks to ET level of experiments by their earthly avatars. Humans on 3D Consciousness spectrum of Energy are fuckkkked.

I am NOT.

The virus can not survive my immunse system.

Do not be afraid except you have been living on junk food or Monsanto's

Ghen ghen. The LASG should make the tests available to all hospitals so that when patients come for routine check up or admission they can first be checked for covid-19.... that way we will avoid all these incessant deaths in private hospitals and some general hospitals where medics are also exposed.
The patient was an “in-patient”
It’s likely the patient was infected by the health workers or visitors.

We are only just beginning. Brace up folks.

Even core Western countries with excellent safety precautions, best practice health care guidelines, and high level of professionalism are badly hit by this pandemic.

Nigeria here where most people (including health workers) are generally incompetent, indolent, careless, unprofessional, and clueless.....where a whole "distinguished" senator even had to remove his face mask to sneeze into the hallowed chambers, lol...

Brace up folks. Melinda Gates isn't far from the truth.

The patient was not treated for covid 19. The case was a routine medical case. After discharge, the patient tested positive. It's only as part of the protocol that the hospital was notified ( follow up of the covid positive person's contacts).
There wasn't any call to treat the patient specially.
