Every business owner who is interested in growing his business is expected to advertise on Facebook.But is Facebook the only advertising medium? NO, but is Facebook ads right for your business growth? yes. But the problem is that many business owners are struggling to achieve their desired result with Facebook ads I this article, I will reveal some mistakes people are making with Facebook ads,which is why they are not getting good return on their ad spend. Ready let's go. MISTAKE #1:Picking the wrong campaign objective To advertise on Facebook,you start by choosing an objective.By picking an objective ,you tell Facebook what you want to achieve with your campaign and Facebook will optimize it to help you achieve your goal. The mistake most people make is picking a wrong objective and when they see wrong result,they complain.If you owned an online store,you definitely want to send people there to buy what you are selling,therefore the right campaign objective is the tragic or conversion objective.Don't pick the engagement objective,except you want just comment,shares and likes and nothing else.So when next you want to advertise,make sure you know your business goal and pick the campaign objective that matches that business goal. MISTAKE #2:Targeting the wrong people You can't put your ad in front of the wrong people and expect to sell your product.For example,you are selling baby or children dresses and shoes,you should know that these children can't buy what you are selling even though the product is for them.The right people to target are parent and the good thing is that Facebook has an option that allows you to do just that. This is another example,if you owned a bridal shop,your ideal audience are the newly engaged why? after every engagement,what follows is often marriage and the BRIDES TO BE are likely to be on Facebook discussing with friends and families about their marriage,this is a good time to show an ad about your cute bridal wear collection and accessories.Hope you get the point. MISTAKE #3:Selling too soon People often get on Facebook to catch up with family and friends and share wonderful moments,in order words,they don't like being sold to.But does it mean they don't have needs? please they do. Don't start by selling too soon to people on Facebook,instead start by raising awareness for your brand,how do you do this?.Offer so much value that will make their lives better and also educate them about your product including the benefits.remember this is not the time to sell,so resist the temptation to sell.This is the time to earn their trust and attract recognition for your brand. MISTAKE #4:Not using an offer In the real world,it's rare to be the only one selling a particular item,on Facebook it's impossible to be the only one targeting an audience. What do I mean? I will tell you. When you are advertising on Facebook,you can't be the only one selling to a particular audience,other marketers are also selling to them,this means the competition for their attention is stiff.To stand out is to offer something irresistible,so look for what to offer with your normal product.This can be a voucher,discount,free shipping or delivery or anything that will boost your chances of getting a sell.
