HeavenlyBang:

He'll say the M5 he drove was unrestricted.

Is this an 'in-joke' I don't get?

Yes, my M5 is 'de-restricted'. Didn't need to state the obvious.

Baba I dey mind my business these days, people dey conveniently forget say there's a difference between being 'quick' and 'fast'. Most people forget just how fast government escort trucks such as Hiluxs and Rangers are. I've gone against a Hilux with an S Class and lost (maybe I'm still a shitty driver or real life isn't the movies), you will definitely be quicker and even faster but due to the great shape of our Nigerian roads, the small gains you make will definitely be wiped out once you slowdown for a pothole or reach an untarred stretch and can literally feel the road noise/tyre vibrational feedback on your steering.

My people talk say pikin wer never go another person farm no go gree say him papa farm no big reach

Your express ways are in good condition, come and drive in Cross River State, Akwa Ibom and Benue states. Ask even kingreignn or Theconglomerate, diportivo what they would rather drive on these roads - an S Class or a Hilux? They've been here done that.

My brother the last time I reach cali for december ehn,my motor scatter for that road.
Had to sell it off at giveaway price because I couldn't stand the disgust.
If you drive a sedan, forget going to calabar with it unless you wanna truck it.

Kingreign....drives with sense albeit like a smuggler when the spirit is upon him

Theconglomerate ...drives his Benz like he stole it...

Dipo..... He's a retired driver..... Who now rocks a picanto between Lagos and Oyo State.

To your circumstance: you didn't lose..... You respected your car. I was on assignment to that zone I refused road movement.

Please boss what type of oil do you use for your N54 engine and transmission ? Thanks

I am on my 3rd BMW and I can tell you they are well built and are really fun to drive. my current car is a twin turbo charged 2007 335i.
i source most of my parts from ladipo market and they are not as expensive as a lot of people claim. I work on my cars myself, once in a while i invite my mechanic to come and assist if the work requires heavy lifting or getting dirty. I can boldly tell you that i am yet to meet a good BMW mechanic that is familiar with the e90 platform. I am in Ibadan BTW
I am not trying to scare you but you should know what you are getting into if you decide to buy a e90 BMW.
