Lagos State governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said, wearing of face mask could be make obligatory as the state is seeing a low spread of community transmission of covid19, in other to contain the virus.

The governor made this known via his verified twitter handle on Monday, April 20, 2020, he said wearing face may be mandatory in the plans to contain covid19, as the state is seeing reduction in community transmission.

Sanwo-Olu therefore, explained that the rise in the number of confirmed cases of covid19 is dude to success of house-house contact tracing and rampaging of tests in 20 Local Government Areas of the state.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control has on Sunday, announced 70 new confirmed cases of covid19 in Lagos the highest number to be recorded in a day, since the outbreak of corona virus pandemic in Nigeria.
