Now it's time to make up your own mind; to be a well-fed slave or a hungry free man...

Hope there's another arrangement to deliver them at their respective states/cities after the quarantine period.

It's an unfortunate situation though.

You call Nigeria a zoo on a daily basis and we won't be suprise to know that for all of you that refer to Nigeria as a zoo,
your uncles , aunties and relatives are among these innocent people that want to return to the same zoo!

People that call their country zoo are nothing but monkeys. Only animals live in zoo, and since their fathers and mothers were born here, that makes them an animal too. Just call them Monkeys.

They will eventually run away from Nigeria after the coronavirus storm calms. The way they say these things as if things are better in Nigeria. What the government should be doing is stamping her foot on the ground against the indiscriminate treatment of Nigerians abroad. Not all about repatriation but building a face for Nigerians. The US consulate has issued a warning to all African-Americans not to go to China and cited the discrimination against blacks in China. The Nigerian consulate is docile and disposable. Anything Nigerian abroad is a magnet of cancer.

I keep saying it, at this point in time, men should be put to work. We need hospitals, we need infrastructures. People should be camped and given opportunities. If the operation in the Oil and Gas has is not halted, then you cannot shut down the economy of Nigeria when the majority of Nigerians are daily earners. Nigerian does not have more cases or deaths than the US but the US is opening, Italy is opening for business. Nigeria just shut everything down as if the economy is self-sustaining. People are poor. A country with a huge margin of disparity between the rich and the poor cannot shut down suddenly. There should be plans and arrangements. Buhari sits down in his Aso rock waiting for countries in the west to discover a vaccine to treat the people over which he presides. What happened to our virologist? How about our research centers? Is it not time to step up our game? The so-called treatment for this virus could be in the home of a herbalist right now. Why aren't we using our resources to the fullest? Chinese brought Tianshi and all those herbal drugs and called them supplements and Nigerians were stupidly buying it. This are the same herbs that you spit on when you go to your villages. Why is the government not using our herbs to full use? Why wait for westerners to breastfeed us? Those fools who saved their money in offshore accounts might just be disappointed soon.

Nigerians do not have hospitals. If you go to government hospitals, you will faint. I went there some years ago and pretended to be sick. I saw things that humans never saw on camera. The doctors show up at 10 am - 11 am and at noon to 2 pm they are out. patients rolling on the floor etc.
No X-ray machines, no blood testing machine (I mean I have this in my own house), when you have to go to do an X-ray, then go to a private specialist to translate the x-ray reading... As a health professional, I spit on the Nigerian health sector.

Speak up now for the government to create a stimulus plan because crime will be like it had never been. Some Nigerians with their servitude attitude. The crime rate will be absolutely unprecedented after this "stay home". People have bills to pay in May. Buhari should have asked Landlords to relax on rents for some months. The government should have consulted all registered businesses. The government should have enforced all top companies to pay their workers' salaries. Buhari should have consulted all state governments to reach out to the grassroots representatives to provide sustenance for daily earners.

Nothing stops the state government from liaising with bakeries to provide bread for people and have some people deliver it to homes. By this, the government can get concretized data.

I am very saddened that a Nigerian will give a fellow Nigerian indomie as relief in this period. Indomie?? What will that do to an adult male? I saw a family given two sachets of Indomie. wonders!!

Some people have a box of indomie for the entire occupants of a 6 flats building. This is sheer evil. Wickedness at its prime.

God bless you. This our country is a major case study in institutional failure.
No sector of our entire system is working.
All our education in cambridge, Harvard, oxford and any other leading universities around the world are meaningless.
Outside Nigeria, you find Nigerians performing wonders.
But here in Nigeria, the bugs of lackadaisical attitude, pride and failure become the norm.
Where we suppose to look inward and provide solutions to our problems, we wait for the western world.
Our forefathers are better than our generation in the aspects of discovery of mental and intellectual property. This is even without them been educated in the western way.
We are too dependent on oyinbo's at the detriment of our own talent.
There is nothing stopping Nigeria to make available for the whole world, the cure for Corona virus. This is if we combine our heritage in herbal remedies with the western medicine and pharmaceutical education we have aquares around the world all these years.
Here we are waiting for a certain vaccine that we don't know the agenda of the people behind it.
Ordinary preparations for the evacuation of our stranded citizens is becoming a very herculean task to achieve.
Nothing is more showing that this country is being governed without the people as the primary reason for government than this season of lockdown.

Palliative support becomes so difficult to implement.
Testing for the virus infection is so slow that other smaller countries in Africa are ahead of Nigeria in numbers of people tested already.
Nothing is working in this country anymore.
People in government are just making money for themselves and their cronies.

It's too late now. Someone should tell them not to try it. Many of them may have been infected . They should have been brought back before border closure. Besides some of them are better off there. We are always doing things upside down in this country

The Minister talk as if they have plans for the returnees,FG insist on return flight paid by individual, they will pay for their isolation and quarantine for 14days and also pay for accommodation. Where is our country heading to after the donations and the isolation center they claim they spend billions on

my brother, I live abroad. Nigerians are wonder machines here. I can tell you, the past 3 companies that I have worked with, my bosses voice out that they do not want to let me go. They say, "if you want excellence and efficiency, get a Nigerian". Even Ghanaians and other African countries envy Nigerians due to our excellence and innovative mindsets. Nigerians are audacious and they fear no one when you give them operational powers.
But the same people you direct over here will be your bosses in Nigeria with military guards and luxury homes. The system in Nigeria is worse than a vagrant's poop.

This is quite laughable. America and some countries are thinking of opening up; is that when these Nigerians want to come.

Is that not like putting a bucket to scoop rain water after the rain has stopped falling?

Mr. Aviation, pls, forget P.H city, in any of ur contingency plans of returning any Nigerians from abroad, we don't want them, Lagos and Abuja has always being cities receiving all major attentions in terms of most important Economic development such as Railway Lines, functional sea ports, Best Energy/power provisions, best health cares, modern roads network, headquarters of all major multinationals companies, headquarters of all important cooperation, best airports, etc.... Niger delta and the entire eastern region has always been neglected/Relegated to the background. So this is truly the best time to carry first and be the biggest in every thing. Thank you.

He never mentioned bringing any of them to port Harcourt even though the belemas and ebieres might be amongst the returnees.

I hope the federal government would negotiate for the release of Nigerians in China prisons too.

They must not be abandoned in a foreign land .
They should remain in those countries or is Nigeria no longer a shithole country? They never thought a day like this would come. Now they want to come back to the very country they love to curse. FG is even magnanimous enough to listen to them. Moral lesson never defecates under a shade u took refuge in when it raining cos you might need it again.

Why is thinking a challenge in this Buhari government?

They can bring in 5 times that figure if they choose to.
Hotels or dormitories can be used as isolation centres till the two weeks elapses. Delaying the evacuation process may only lengthen the lockdown period or lead to a quick relapse of the viral spread in the country.
