Have Government Ever Default Paying Treasury Bills? by blockgeek69(m): 7:19am On Apr 21, 2020
Okay, guys, I am getting a little worried about the falling oil prices and the possible deep recession that is ahead for Nigeria. With the way everything is going, one does not need a soothsayer to tell if Nigeria is going into deep shit or not. Now, my inquiry is this, have there been any time in history any government of any Nation defaulted in paying off matured securities like treasury bills and what are the possible case scenarios for Nigeria? Elders in the house, please I need your input. I'm getting curious because my money is till lockdown in last year's bill I purchased which will mature in September this year.
