Please how can I edit my ds 160 to fill in the new work date since the old date has passed. If I go for interview with the old resumption date, it will affect me. I need to change it to the new date

Simply retrieve the ds 160 and update your information and then fill in the new ds number in the cgi portal

Well if they really are only visiting then B1/B2 is the appropriate visa. But given the propensity of Consular Officers to deny those visas, IR5 might be the better way. Assuming they eligible.

Hey! So I am a US citizen as well this is what I did. My mom applied for B1/B2 visa and she got it, mind you she is a frequent flyer to the States. When she last visited, after she was inside the US for 3 month, I petitioned for her to get her green card and it was approved. You have to show that you're financially stable to sponsor her. It is okay to petition for her if she is in the country because it goes by faster as opposed to from Nigeria. I hope this helps

You said she and her family are all travelling to the USA together. My question is , is her Husband working in the UK?
She stands a better chance if she is a permanent resident of the UK.

The single most important thing will be their status in the UK. If they have leave to remain more than 2 years I would think they would be fine.

I am a 33yr old single lady ,was denied F-1 visa in 2018 three times .Fast forward to 2022, my brother brother in the US since 2019 invited my parents and I over though not my mother’s first as she has been there twice and popcy hasn’t though he has travel history but I don’t.

Before,a b2 visa will have sufficed,but with appointment dates seriously backed up,Filing for them is your best bet now as they will get is sooner.But the B2 route,you will be on a long thing
