In the midst of this covid-19, a country is still thinking of how to advance it's military prowess. Most of these world power countries are just full of shit! God doesn't need to end this world. Man is more than capable of ending it himself! |

Iran is in a pretty good position right now. The US have exerted the maximum possible pressure they can give, short of an invasion. There is no other sanction the US can apply. Trump really fucckked up. 8 Likes |

Iran should be smart enough right now. America will test them in many ways , but they must not take the bait. As we see in the Persian gulf. Any all out war will give America the opportunity to obliterate the Persian civilisation once and for all. 2 Likes |

Nice historical recap. However, you forgot to mention that immediately after Mossadegh appointment as the Prime Minister by the Shah, he became power-drunk, seizing refineries and holdings controlled by western companies, a la Robert Mugabe style. His greatest undoing was his land reform that pitted him against the Shah and other major landowners. In fact, Mossadegh flip flop policies did not affect only the elites, the masses were significantly impoverished too. With the aforesaid, and active connivance of aggrieved former allies and the Shah, his deposition was a fait accompli. dermmy: 1 Like |

I saw it passing through Biafra Airwaves two days ago. The IRGC, which operates its own military infrastructure in parallel to Iran's regular armed forces, is a hardline force answerable only to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. IPOB scientists/researchers are working really hard to restore Biafra's technologies that were destroyed by British after the 1970 seized fire. 1 Like |

Elpacino481: You don’t have to call someone foolish, cause your opinion differ. The Iran nation, we have now doesn’t have 3000 years history, it all began in 20s when Germany ordered them to change their name and in 70s, the Iranian hostage crisis, caused by America, this allowed ayatollah to come back from exile, and take over the country, turning it into an Islam nation, full sharia in force and turning himself to the supreme leader, thousands of Iranians have been immigrating to US due to this policy, but I won’t dispute, the fact that they’re intelligent. 4 Likes |

dermmy:It is well within Iran's rights to bolster its defences, especially given the belligerence of neighbors such as Israel and hostile adversaries like United states and parts of of Europe to a far lesser extent. But I honestly think they're currently threading on extremely thin ice. This is hardly the right time to ratchet up tensions between them and US. I say this because they seem not to have taken any lessons from their most recent confrontation with the West, which resulted in them losing one of their finest generals. If these were happening under another government that respects international and diplomatic norms, perhaps they'd get away with it, one might wager. But given a very erratic and impulsive character like Trump, it is anybody's guess what would happen in the hours or days ahead. I don't for a moment think that all those satellites Uncle Sam has orbiting space are for reconnaissance, telecoms or scientific purposes alone. Something tells me a couple of them might have assault capabilities. If one could wage war on land, sea and air, you'd wonder, why not outer space! The Yankees have all these figured out eons ago I believe. That said, nothing stops Trump from activating some code and obliterating whatever it is Iran has in orbit. They'd wail, the diplomatic community might in solidarity, Europe would advice both parties pull themselves back and engage eachother cautiously blablabla, and in the end, it would all fizzle out after the press have their fill!! Life goes on. The days ahead would be quite interesting. 5 Likes |

Since the American Civil War, the USA was not at war with one country or the other for only 6 whole years! But guess what, they never had the balls of attacking any country which has nuclear military capabilities. Iranians are not stupid at all. They know all too well how the world works and that having nukes is the only way which guarantees freedom. 5 Likes |
