My younger brother died earlier this morning and I can't help beating myself up for missing the clues he left as to what he was going through.

My theory is that he committed suicide out of depression based on the way SARS officials treated him.

It's heartbreaking to any sane mind!
Everyday in this country is a constant struggle for survival. Even the most basic things.

I'm tired of talking about SARS because our leaders don't care. There are good policeman but even them are endangered species.
Every day and every week the police claim innocent lives with reckless abandone.
From extra judicial killings to extortion and harassment of citizens.

Most of these SARS officers are poorly trained, uneducated or semi-educated and are mainly out for extortion and killings.

The police authorities won't do anything concrete because most of them benefit from the extortion in the form of returns.

Another innocent soul bits the dust just because he was so unfortunate to be born in Nigeria and a Nigerian!

It's really sad and heartbreaking!

SARS has done what they know how to do best. Our government has been playing ludo with the lives of every citizen since time immemorial. See how they cut short the life of a prospective young man. It's time for everybody to rise up and defend himself.

Mheen! It's high time federal government look into this. How can we get technologically advanced if phones and laptops looks like ATM card or bank account to police/Sars. Could recall when a bro came home from abroad sometimes ago, someone that runs a legit business, he had to get a Nokia touch light phone to move around. Dropped his big phones at home to save himself any form of harassment. How long are we going to remain this way?
