There is difference of opinion if a pregnant should repay her fasting or if she should give fidya, and I sincerely have a soft spot for the first opinion.

But you are asking for fidya, so let's talk about that, fidya isn't something difficult and doesn't change, just pick any reasonable food, like rice or beans or anything that people hold in high esteem, give one needy person what worths atleast 1.5kg from it, if you wish you can add more, but don't give less. Or you can make the food and call the needy to eat, you do this for every single day she doesn't fast.
