There was reportedly drama in Badore, Ajah, Lagos state, as the family of a deceased coronavirus victim, dragged his dead body with the NCDC.

According to usual practice, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), manages the burial of coronavirus patients, but according to Twitter user @Nerdy_Dopey, the family of the deceased didn’t want that.



According to @Nerdy_Dopey, as the NCDC wanted to take the body of the victim for burial, his family and some people in the environ dragged the body with them. See what he wrote below;

“So members of the @NCDCgov are currently at Badore, Ajah to transfer a #COVID19 patient to an isolation center but they were too late. The man had already died. Now the real case began, custodianship of his body.

The man’s family & area boys are LITERALLY dragging the man’s body. They want to bury their dead & @NCDCgov want to take possession of his body so they handle it rightly.

It’s still ongoing right now around the Jetty area roundabout at Badore.
While the members of the @NCDCgov had their PPE on, the crowd were in no way protected and they were dragging the dead body like it was a game of thug of war.��‍♂️

The number of infected people with #COVID19 is about to triple at Badore, Ajah.

His family and all the people around that place should be quarantined.”

Ncdc nigeria,is the most corrupt and confused cdc worldwide..no one is tagged a patiend anywhere until tested positive.but,in nigeria.the moment they pick anyone,that person becomes a patient..pls,tell your ncdc,that it takes 7days or more for covid-19 test result to be out.from sample taking to lab test..they can loot covid-19 funds,but endangering the lives of citizens in the name of it,is not good.

Tell us the areas where this diseases are occurring and quarantine those areas. So the rest of the state with no cases can continue their business

The dead is dead. Let them leave the corpse to minimize infection.
