Hello everyone, I want to change my career path and apply for a BSc in nursing. I already have a first degree in Education from Nigeria. Are visas granted to people who make such career changes and go for 2nd undergraduate degrees? Also, I want to go with my family. How many years proof of funds should I show for an undergraduate degree? I'll appreciate your responses. Thank you. |

Jesusrules24: Try the 2 year M.Sc Adult Nursing program; some universities take students without a previous science-related degree. It's a postgraduate program, so you can take your family along. 1 Like |

PG certificates are usually shorter than masters even though they are on the same level as masters. If you enrol on a masters program and for some reason can't complete your dissertation, the school might be able to award you a PG certificate. See the link below for a more detailed explanation on the difference: https://www.prospects.ac.uk/postgraduate-study/postgraduate-diplomas-and-certificates Most of the PG certificate courses I've seen are either part-time or for UK/EU students though based on the info in the link, international students with great English language skills can get on the program. If a school sponsors you for that, it will most likely be on a short-term study visa since its duration is typically not up to 9 months for the full-time study. I'm sure that you can get tier 4 sponsorship for PG diplomas though and I've seen schools offering this to international students. Oby200: |

Are all the names on the birth certificate the same as on your passport even though they've been wrongly labelled but not misspelled? If yes, an affidavit should help. I'm not sure about the LG certificate but it should be tenable since it's a government issued document and UKVI has not explicitly stated that birth certificates must come only from the NPC. You can get an affidavit to show that both name variants refer to you. Bodyco05: 1 Like |

It depends on your personal situation. Do you intend to return to your current employer after your studies? Do you want to prove this? If yes, you'll need a letter from your company stating your employment details (when you joined the organisation, current remuneration, position/job level e.t.c.) and also stating that you've been granted study leave for the period you'll be in the UK studying. If you choose to include this in your application, the ECO might ask you what your expected pay and job level will be when you return to the organisation after your course. You might also be asked what value you expect from the course and how that value will be beneficial to your employer. bayosegun: |

umerah1996: https://mymedical.iom.int/apps/omas/#_frmGetInTouch Click on the drop down menu on the left. Select 'contact' and then 'get in touch'. Send them a message from here, they'll respond. I was able to reach them via this, after trying for days. 1 Like |

Your school will issue you a new cas showing the last date of entry which in your case is 16th Oct. So you have no problem with UK immigration because a copy of the updated cas will be sent to them as well. I was in that same situation once HerMoney: 1 Like |

Hello good morning everyone, This is my first time on this platform. Please I would like to enquire about the student visa requirement on how to apply. I got admission since March at the university of hull for masters in chemical engineering for septemeber2020 and unfortunately for me, I was not certain I would go. But I have decided to go. Is it possible I can still make this September entry? Also if I plan to defer, how can I go about the process and well the bank statement. My dad is my sponsor. |

Please @mimilyrics and those that have done this At what point do we add dependents to the tier4 application. How do I go about it as I have already gotten to the payment page for the principal applicant. Thank you |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by TheGuyFromHR: 7:47am On Aug 06, 2020 |
chiwelaw: I filled the forms on Monday and I found that you can't add dependants to the principal applicant's application form directly, instead you have to fill a separate form for each dependant and make payment for them separately. At the start of each dependant's application, you will be asked for the details of the principal applicant, including their name, passport number and GWF number (a code issued at the end of the principal applicant's process, after all fees have been paid) which will be used to link the applications of dependants to the principal applicant 2 Likes |
