The multitalented and multidisciplinary showman spurred twitter users down memory lane with his fresh single Lekeleke, ahead of his 5th album titled Ilu Ilu. Lekeleke is the cattle egret - a bird of playground folklore to the Nigerian child. It would show up white as snow in the rainy season, and young children will chase up under it, demanding the good luck that it reputedly harbours.

Many believe by flicking their fingers to mimic the flying Cattle egret and singing the Lekeleke song, their fingernails will turn white. In similar fashion, Ibejii debuts Lekeleke, first single off his upcoming album, Ilu Ilu to inspire a nostalgic voyage from the past that COVID-19 stole from us to the glorious future that lies just ahead.
