I read through the thread,my heart bleed. My son became 3yrs on his way to 4 when like joke a flash of light seen in his eyes turned out to be a nightmare for the entire family for the next two years. My son suffered cancer of the eyes,he underwent 14 circle of chemotherapy.Even when the eye was enucleated, some particles of the tumour was left behind due to lack of precision equipment during the surgery.what we thought was over,we began another set of journeys in saving his life,by then the tumour had spread to the optic nerve. CANCER is a bastard. My son started radiation again,he had radiotherapy three separate times. At the end he couldn't fight cancer any longer. Somebody help me I am crying profusely over here. Before now,i have read of cancer, but it never occurred to me how deadly it is. Treating CANCER is like a white Elephant project. I thank God for Nairaland and the OP for the previlliege to pour out my heart and to announce to the whole word the thought of Him(my Son) remains indelible. Bishop my son, your daddy is crying, your mum, grannies aunts, uncles and neighbours, even your little siblings won't forget you in a hurry. In this 21 century,it is impossible to forget you, your pictures and videos are all stored in the cloud, flash drives, memory cards even emails. Sorry we can't forget you.Adieu NNwajesu(Bishop).

I will love to have your contact bro. It won't be now but trust me, when you least expect, I will Greece your account just to say thanks on behalf of your siblings. Do you know why? Because life is so unpredictable, these same siblings can still turn against you in future when they have more than you and they will forget the things you had to go through just for their sake and happiness

Smiles you're funny sir! I don't think they can!

I don't need to bend to societal rules nor her ways before I should be remembered for...

Anyone who can't accept me for who I am, should take a wide road out of my life.

It's not normal 4 two young siblings to die within a very short period. Av seen a family that have successful pple who don't get married. The men who got married have divorced since. The women don't get married at all. In fact two of those women died last yr. One was a lecturer in a federal university the other was a director in a very big company. They're all siblings.
And so what does that have to do with anything bro? Isn't it obvious why you couldn't ace your subject to study medicine in honour of your late brilliant friend when you let your be life ruled by superstitious belief?

The young lady you quoted didn't think anything was amiss in the death of her two brothers within the space of a year. But here you are trying to corrupt her mind by sowing seeds of doubt into it. Now next thing is to begin living a life of fear and second-guessing and suspecting everyone around her including her loved ones and friends.

How are you different from the so-called men of god and babalawos that cause loggerhead amongst families, friends, acquaintances etc with deceptive stories such as you are gearing up to.

STOP IT pls!

prettyangel10:

Thanks. Please, how do you mean when you say their deaths are not normal?
Pls do not mind that guy. There are many people on this planet earth who'd been through worse but didn't attribute it to anything extraordinary. More so such line of thought makes it practically impossible to let go. Pls don't buy into that. Life happens and unfortunately your family had her share. My condolences

I thought my mum's death was the worse in 2010.She was knocked down by a car.I bought a coffin. My dad died in 2017,prostrate cancer.I bought a coffin.I thought death had no sting on me again.July 18th 2019 my wife went on official assignment they had a fatal car crash. She alone died on the spot.It was too much to bear..some else should buy the coffin.I refused to choose or buy a coffin....it's a horror am yet to wake up from.

Bro, truly i shed tears for you. Lossing my Dad was the worst thing that happened to me. But yours, especially your is painful.

I see you are really hurting & in grief, i noticed your comments, it is good that you expressed these things.

Crying later for my dad & even addressing him imaginary, really helped to soften the pain.

It is well with you, enjoy what time you have left, if you have children take good care of them & make solid provisions for them incase of emergency. Never bring in a woman into your house that is a sharp contrast of your late wife. Never rush into another woman! The lord is your strenght.

Take heart all. I am not sure the pain will ever go away. My younger brother was murdered in pigba Abuja in 2018. We spoke that night and the next morning saw a pic on fb......I died that day. He was so kind! He was just 22. My dad has tried suicide several times. The pain! The tears! Joy has left the family. Rip Solution

Pere (2017)
Kidney Failure

She was my very good friend ,one of the most beautiful babe I've ever seen... She helped me with my Certificate of Fitness before I left for Nysc .... My mind told me to call her that faithful day but since I didn't have enough credit I called her best friend broke the news to me and apologised , I broke down and wept bitterly before my friends (both male and female) ,I couldn't eat and couldn't believe the fact she was gone, kept calling everyone who knew her to confirm... I was mad..... for someone like her who struggled to train her self in school to die in her final year was heartbreaking to me.... I remembered motivating her to go to school so she could upgrade... She was the only girl who would announce my coming to church to the other youths .... It became boring without her!
(Oh Shit! I'm about to cry) Continue to rest Pere dear as I fondly call you!!!

Nancy Amadike (2018)
Brief illness

We attented the same tetiary institution ,I loved her so much, We have talked about meeting each other after service , suddenly one I saw her picture on a group chat that she just died.
Oh boy.... if there's something I don't joke with are the people I love most... I controlled my tears till I left the office ,was sobbing in a bus till I got home . R.i.P Nancy.... I still miss you!!

Aunty Franca

She named me after herself ,she was the most selfless and funniest of all my aunties , her death came as a shock , although she has suffered alot to sickness(cancer)....She didn't eat the fruit of her labour but God knows best, she lived a good life and touched lives ,she was buried on my birthday!!! R.I .P Aunty ....God bless you real good

I lost 2 of my sister's while I was very young. My eldest sister Chidiebere and my immediate younger sister Chinaza.

I still feel very sad whenever I remember them. I never really got to know them well embarassed.

I also lost my cell leader, Brother Peter at Christ Embassy some years back. He was selfless, very caring, he loved the work of God to a fault. He made me and my friend to start loving the things of God. He was the lead choir master at Christ Embassy headquarters warri. He was energetic, charismatic and full of life.

Sadly, he developed kidney failure or disease, can't just tell. Peter was dying. Church couldn't do much. I saw Peter some weeks later, I shed years. The once energetic Peter was now so pale.

I travelled home for Xmas, only for my friend to call me that Peter is gone. I wept, I went into deep rumination. I lost interest and left embassy for good. My decision was childish then, but that was my mood.

I still miss him today. Rest on Peter. You may not be my blood but you made an impact on our lives.

I've lost many people close to me but the most painful of them all is the death of my friend Grace John who died on 14 of October, 2017. She was a very promising and determined young lady. She was full of many exploits for her generation. I always feel sad whenever I think of her demise. Even in death, I still love u my dear friend, continue to rest in peace.
The second one is the death of my classmate when I was in Ss1. She was a mother figure and very good woman. Death snatched her away when she was 50 years old. I cried my eyes out at her funeral.

If your husband comes begging with repentant heart please receive him back wholeheartedly, don't stop praying for him either, so that you can save both you and him for eternal final home in Christ.
Katier00:
My Dad though he was 79 at that time but I was only 22 so I knew him for only 22 years. He was our fighter, he stood the gap for us, he never miss the 3am divine mercy. He was the man that taught me selflessness, a man of peace. I was hospitalized four days before his death, he came to visit me and was pained. He cried to God and said, father I will not bury any of my children again, it is my life for hers and four days later he died in his sleep peacefully. He stood in for me. Ten years later it is still painful and tears rolling down my cheeks. Rest on Sir Ben. Your daughter is a grown woman doing well for herself. Till we meet at Jesus' feet

My mother in-law, Electric oku oyibo as I always called you. My friend and my gossip partner. She was a paragon of beauty both in and out. She died same year as my Dad, 9 months later. Electric ASA nwanyi, I miss you so much. Things would have been different if you were here. I am sorry I ended things with your son, you guys were of different kind, he is the opposite of you and you knew it, that's why you stood by me. I miss you everyday oku oyibo though you came back as my second son, I still miss that elegant wonderful and caring mother in-law. I would have stayed because of you but you left leaving me vulnerable and to my fate. You are one in a million.

.... My mom I never knew, died in a car accident when I was barely 6 months old. To complicate issues, dad died when I was just over 3 years old in January 1994.... And whenever I reminisce, I know the entire course of my life could have been different if they hadn't passed away. Looking at life's reality now, to say it's painful is an understatement, it hurts badly cry .
Oh Death! Where is thy sting? Oh Grave! Where is thy victory?
