When the situation gets worse will you also take responsibility? This Abia state Man that want to make himself popular for talking, how far have you impacted Abia state, how many state has facilities to admit at least 1000 COVID-19 patients except Lagos State. Those supporting your opinion now will abuse Buhari when things get worse. Wailers and hailers has one thing in common. To mislead you. Is not within your power to advise opening of the country. The NCDC chairman and the task force for COVID-19 will advice base on facts and recommend precautions. Not emotional senator that did nothing to support people on lockdown.
So how many of your neighbours have you bothered to check how they are surviving this period. It's easy to push for a lockdown when you are comfortable at home. A hungry and angry Nigerian does not fear Covid-19, he needs food to think straight.
In the absence of any palliative, continuing the lockdown becomes criminal.

The same man advising the government to remove a lockdown for a virus that's highly contagious ..A virus that a country with over 200million citizens haven't tested up to 10,000 persons for .

Shocking to see some Nigerians speaking like they don't leave in Nigeria.... I sha know say wetin dem dey call for,go answer them in no distant time ...May God guide and protect us from the carelessness and stupidity of our neighbours.

How do you expect him to fixed Abia when he's not the Governor? Has he been able to fixed Nigeria? Nigerian polity is a very bad one if you should ask me. You can't talk till tomorrow without change once you are not the President or Governor. If you are not strong while talking, the power that be, end you politically.

When they start burying their parents and children, they will fear covid19, all an average Nigerian think about is his stomach and nothing else....

Let's not be elitist. Imagine the mechanic, the vulcanizer, the bus driver, the traders stop for a minute and ask yourself how do these people survive? No one is supporting recklessness at this time but as much as you want us to be safe from Covid-19, also make plan to keep them safe from hunger virus, both kill equally.

Hunger have been in Nigeria for a long time, it never started now, is surprising we are all shouting hunger hunger hunger , like it started today....

Let them go out, guess what, ur senator, ur governors, won't step their feet outside,.

That mechanic will still die of covid19 why ur leaders bury them.

Difficult times call for difficult measures....

Lockdown is good but it should be a short term solution and not till infinity especially when Nigeria is not making it's own effort in finding a vaccine. You can't completely lockdown your citizens without a palliative and keep waiting for whenever the West finds you a vaccine.
What has the govt given to be a condition to ease the lockdown? none so we dont even know what to hope for. Is it till the last person is cured or vaccine is found?.

They are waiting for the West to profer a solution and we copy and paste in Nigeria. If a public safety measure has no human face it becomes wickedness to the poor.

hmmm in as much as we all know hunger is also a terrible problem we face, but lifting the lockdown at any time now would simply lead to disastrous consequences for Nigeria. USA is a simple example, the arrogance towards dis Virus was in part what led to the crisis they are facing right now. If we go down that same line, we truly will have bodies everywhere on the streets. We don’t have the health system to deal with anywhere close to a full blown Covid-19 crisis, we are not even carrying out close to enough tests, our numbers are greatly understated. Now is the time for the govt to step up and show they care about the people irrespective of your status. Lifting the lockdown at any point now is a recipe for disaster.
