milkytins:It depends on where you are applying from. If you are in Nigeria, you'll have to exercise some patience as the biometrics center is currently closed. 1 Like |

degxyflexy: Oh really? Did you secure admission in the school? The applicants I know had to evaluate their credentials before admisson was granted. It will end in praise |

Piston65:Hello, can you provide a detailed timeline of the application process. You said "you said she got an invitation for data capture (biometrics I suppose). You did not mention anything about submitting a visa application online or via paper route. You can also answer the following; 1. Do you know her UCI number 2. Have access to the application Schools are still operating although in a minimal capacity. processing can be slow but they are still actively admitting. 1 Like |

Hi fam, I submitted my 2nd application since Feb 26th and since then no updates. Somedays ago I massaged them and their reply was that the delay is as a result of covid19. Right now am thinking of going for refund and keep waiting for them to reply my app since no one knows when this covid 19 is coming to an end and I don't want to risk such. Just thinking though, advice pls |

webtalker2020:Hello, Congratulations on your acceptance. Unfortunately nobody can give you a clear verdict on the success of your application. All things been equal you have to ensure you do your best to provide all details and cover the loopholes in your application. You want to consider the following; 1. How does my study gap affect the VO perception of my program? 2. Will a project management program be seen as a career advancement or a desperate attempt to leave Nigeria 3. Can I meet up with the first year expense ( tuition and living expenses) 4. Who is my sponsor? 5. Travel history? 6. Will I be making use of any documents that can compromise my plans? 7. Home ties If you can answer this questions positively then go for it without looking back. |

ndubuisi1213: Yeah thought as much. Most paper applications have been on hold due to the pandemic cause of closure of visa offices. But with how things are easing off, I’m positive you’ll finally get a response soon. |

Please house let's refrain from spitting out personal information e.g. Phone numbers or even full names. If you do peradventure by mistake, go back to the previous post and quote and remove the digits if the other person has seen it. My opinion. It will end in praise. 2 Likes |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Insanity(m): 11:18am On Jun 21, 2020 |
Ysakaws1: Really? For which program? Have you checked your profile on the egas portal? Did you apply for a course based masters or a thesis masters? This might not be good for your application because enrollment for some courses for Fall 2020 has commenced, even co-op application is on already with deadline on July 10. You need to contact them as soon as possible. Send a mail to: gradst@uwindsor.ca AND Go to this link: https://www.uwindsor.ca/registrar/540/contact-us On the link, scroll down to Graduate and Professional Application Service Specialist section, you will see a list of Admission Officers' names and their contact details, your Admissions Officer is determined by your last name using the alphabetical listing there. Send an inquiry mail to your admission officer. I received my offer letter since March for Fall 2020. I have even deferred to winter session and received the offer letter for Winter January 2021. Goodluck! |

Onweke: Your really should have asked before submitting, 6.86mb is very small and compressing it below 4mb would not have been difficult At all with very good quality . I compressed 15mb to 4mb and still had a reasonable clearity. And I don’t advice you withdraw the application because that would be automatic rejection, so that’s off the table. Maybe the gurus in the house can come up with a better way out. |

Ysakaws1: Try to contact the school and also check your dashboard, maybe all yours docs and references have not been received. There admission decision don't take that long |
