OBANLABAMIDELE2: Hello OBANLABAMIDELE2, You were given a choice and there is no harm either raising a webform informing IRCC to continue processing your application via the regular stream. Take the SDS as an example, not all applicants from eligible countries are participants. All the best 2 Likes |

oreafe: Hello Oreafe, From what I understand from the notes, you should probably try to improve in these areas, 1. Your study plan/LOE or go for a program more related. 2. Include evidence of your travel history 3. Prior to your reapplication, build your account according to the inflows and avoid any lumpsum deposit. If any, carefully explain it and give source and reasons. 4. Your future prospect or career goal should be spelt out. Enlighten the VO on its lucrativeness amidst the current employment situation in your home country. 5. Demonstrate that your spouse (and you) are independently well-established both economical and socioculturally. Also include spouse's proof of source of funds. 6. Demonstrate how the kids would fair in your absence and steps taken to ensure that their welfare are meant. 7. Provide additional evidence that may help the VO understands the lucrativeness and employability of your prospect course and ways you've planned out to recoup the expenses back home. 8. In your letter, don't tell the VO that you're a genuine student and the VO figure that out through your filed application and good worded letter. 9. Include any relevant documents that can further help to demonstrate how your situation has improved or changed from the last. 10. Keep both eyes on your home ties. All the best. 2 Likes 1 Share |

kelvine95: Hello Kelvine95, In regards to using TOEFL in place of IELTS is something I am not sure of because the requirements clearly states IELTS. Being that the NSE is relatively a new stream and no application has been successfully processed completely through it for the techniques to be understudied. Its no different from the SDS but with few tweaks in requirements. You may want to find out if you're the curious type. You can as well help us find out if TOEFL would be accepted despite it not been stated. If its not accepted, your application is likely to continue to be processed under the regular category but again, this is your decision. In respect to your funds, it seems okay as you've stated. All the best |

fareemah: Hello Fareemah, If you're already in the EE pool, you may look at PNPs or use the next 6 months in learning French and try to score CLB 7 if possible. Your CRS score will be above 500 and if your above to get a nominee from any province, your CRS score will be above 1000 sufficiently enough to get ITA. All the best 1 Like |

brovaSketch: Hello BrovaSketch, There is no need for a professional course since a Master is amongst the possessed academic qualification. The best options to boost the CRS score is taking TEF/TCF as you've said or PNP, or to retake IELTS and max out. Cheers! 2 Likes |

Guys pls help, I have browsed through tons of schools but still not sure the ones that are more likely to give admission. My CGPA is 3.63, Second class upper but I applied to Queens University last year, I didnt get admission. Bla bla bla we are not offering you admission, the admission process was very competitive kinikan kinikan. My friend too who applied to University of Ottawa too with a 2.1 didn't get admission. I Don't want my money to waste this time around biko. Will I get admission with this CGPA. What options do I have? My first degree was in law. What schools are more admission friendly and not too competitive. If they say 2.1, is it 2.1 truly abi they have other things they look at. Note that I want to do masters in Law and not all schools offers it. Memorial university, University of new Brunswick etc do not. Epp |

Insanity: ATM I'm not sure of why PPRs have delayed more than 24hrs and more are still getting BVLs. Could it be that they're trying to clear the backlog of passports already submitted some 3-4 weeks ago? Know that almost everyone sends in their passports within 24hrs Or are they trying to introduce Stargerd Process ? Honestly I'm not sure. You guys should wait for tonight again around 2-4am to see if you'll get PPR request. Maybe the gurus in the house can throw more light on this as they may seen cases similar to this in the past. Cc Lekiboboe, Frankrobbn1, Justmellow, Lekiboboev2, Pee2jay9 Anon123 please shed more light for them. So we too coming behind can take note and maybe prepare |

JustMellow: Oga JustMellow, Please I need your input. I'm currently working at company A. I have another company B willing to give me the job offer letter as proof of home ties to the V.O. Will it fly if I submit my application with company A as current workplace in my C.V bearing in mind that salary payments, pension payments will reflect from them in statement of account and also also submit job letter from company B as proof of home ties: all together. |

Dear All, I intend to Apply for a PACE PGD course at the University of Winnipeg. I have HND in Computer Science and the course I am applying for is Advance Business Management. On Ties. I have a wife and a Daughter. I have a car, (No landed property) The office is willing to give me a study leave letter. Can these prove as enough ties? The fees for this course is about 13k CAD Adding the one year 10kCAD That is about N7.2M. How much extra must I have so I don't get denied? Please any extra advice will be appreciated |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Anon123: 4:34pm On Nov 19, 2020 |
trojcity: Wat is your current job role/experience. A car is not a home tie because it depreciates. your wife, daughter and present place of work can serve as a home tie |
