Muslims don't take life to be a scare commodity, hence their nonchalant attitude towards the (cause of) deaths.

640 deaths equals verbal autopsy, when it's over a thousand then they'll resume practical autopsy.
Only God knows how many of them have left the shores of Kano to other States so as to make the deaths even.

Verbal autopsy when an actual autopsy will provide more concrete information. Why don't people value lives like this?!
Let me rephrase 'Why don't Nigeria politicians value lives like this'

How's this done in Islamic countries and in western countries where muslims died? Do they carry out autopsies? It would be interesting to hear from you guys.

Hoping the government legislate on this and make it compulsory for an autopsy and death confirmation before burial and subsequent issuance of death certificate.

Exactly. Islam forbids autopsy, even if the lives of the entire state are in danger, no autopsy. Thats their business anyway, they should just shut down all borders to the south. they will rather keep dying than do the needful

Verbal autopsy in a pandemic situation?

Are you bloody joking?

Does a doctor perform a 'verbal diagnosis' on a patient he/she can't see?

Ah religion will not kill us in this country.
