There are various means and tactics employ by unscrupulous real estate agents, real estate companies and property developers etc to scam real estate investors.

In this article you will learn steps you must follow so as not to fall prey to these roaming lions looking for whom to scam.

Verify the seller: You have to be sure that you are talking the owner(s) of the property or an authorized individual who is given the power to sell the property on behalf of the owner(s).
If the person you are dealing with is an authorized representative he must present you with a document called the power of attorney. This document shows that the owner has given the person the right to sell the property.
