Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has disclosed the identities of the state's five recently reported coronavirus cases. El- Rufai in a statement shared via his Twitter account on Monday said the Commissioner of Health in the state, Dr AMBaloni confirmed that the cases are five Almajiri children recently repatriated from Kano. According to him, this has increased the active COVID-19 cases in the state to nine.

Exposing the identities is a good idea in my opinion. Stigma or not, knowing the people that have it would help to reduce the spread especially now that some dumb, inconsiderate bastards are running away from isolation centres and distributing it to the healthy. |
