Our party invites Nigerians to observe how countries like Senegal had effectively mobilized their indigenous medical researchers and manufacturers to produce low cost quick testing kits as well as ventilators while investing massively in the production of drugs for treatment of COVID-19 patients. I have asked over and over again, why is the academia and private sector left out of the Covid-19 war team. This is not a job for politicians but people well versed in dealing with similar challenges. We need the CSO's involved. Not sharing money for politicians in the name of fighting the Pandemic. Osinbanjo needs to speak up now and draft a Covid-19 recovery plan which will include testing, isolating and treating infected ones, to providing stimulus for people and businesses. Enough of the joke. 1 Like |

Our party invites Nigerians to observe how countries like Senegal had effectively mobilized their indigenous medical researchers and manufacturers to produce low cost quick testing kits as well as ventilators while investing massively in the production of drugs for treatment of COVID-19 patients. This can only happen with innovative people running things in the country. For a start, the Minister of Health and the NCDC boss should get fired and replaced with more innovative people with passion to end the pandemic menace. The mess in Kano is unacceptable and no plan to start massive random sample testing in hospitals around the country to ascertain to a certain extent the amount of spread. Sack them now. Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones. 1 Like |

I know some fools will accept this, but what do you expect them to say? Must you use every situation (negative) as an opportunity to criticize the ruling party just to achieve your selfish interest? That is what you will never experience in other countries, all opposition parties and the ruling party joined heads together to fight and find a solution to the issue on ground, not sitting somewhere criticizing the ruling party as if they will do better, nonsense |

[[s]quote author=Bevista post=88934011]What is appalling is how the president crawls out of his rathole every 2 weeks to deliver a bland, unemotional message and then crawls back in. That, to me, is not leadership. It's almost like he had his way, he would not even bother with the address. I mean, will we ever watch this man speak to Nigerians from his heart, apart from the usual reading of rubbish written for him by delusional aides? Does he have any ideas of his own? Can he handle a press conference where he's asked spontaneous questions by journalists? How did we get here?![/quote][/s] TRASH |

Agboriotejoye: Not really he is a true leader who let the will of the majority prevail since its their own life they are gambling with and not his or that of his family he locks safely in Aso Rock, didnt PDP come out with a statement lambasting the lock down, with cheiftains and lawyers saying he cant do such? didnt you read the articles of Charles Soludo and other economist saying he should relax the lockdown has people were hungry? or you would claim not to hear when sultan stated it clearly that hunger virus is worse than corrona virus Buhari just gave everyone the chance to protect themselves if they can |

solmus:The true leader makes the best decisions not the most popular one. Like recapitalisation of banks then, it was a very good decision albeit unpopular then. Besides, do you mean sultan, soludo are now PDP or do you mean PDP are now the majority? If that is the case then it means the 2019 election needs to be revisited. 1 Like |
