The Plateau State Government has reminded citizens of the state that the total lockdown a result of the Coronavirus pandemic resumes midnight Sunday 26th April 2020 after a three-day window, as announced by Governor Simon Bako Lalong.
The governor, in a state broadcast on 23rd April., gave citizens of the state a 3 – day window to restock before the resumption of the 3rd phase of the lockdown.
“To this effect, all citizens are enjoined to abide by all provisions of the lockdown as violators will be arrested and prosecuted accordingly.”

Governor Lalong’s statement through his Media Director Simon Macham said details of the lockdown will be unveiled in due course.

Làlong, assured the People of his state that his government is doing everything possible to contain the situation, particularly now that the State has an index case.
“”Citizens should therefore disregard fake and unverified information, and seek reliable communication from revelant Government channels at all times.”” Làlong stressed.
