Who would have thought that facemask will be a compulsory check – list as one intends to move in public places, no thank to the coronavirus pandemic.

As various countries has recommended safety measures to the public in order to ease the lockdown following the rapid spread of the coronavirus disease, the compulsory use of Facemask has continued to ring bell. Aside the use of Facemask, other safety recommendations to curb the transmission of the disease includes:

Physical Distancing — people should keep a minimum distance of 2 – metres from one another.

Hand washing with soap and water should be performed as frequently as possible or using an alcohol-based sanitizer where no water is available.

If someone is coughing or sneezing, they should cover their cough, using a disposable tissue and discarding in a waste bin and washing their hands or using their bent elbow.

Normal practices like greeting one another with handshakes or hugging should be avoided.
