Covid-19: Lagos Records Fewer Number Of Cases As Kano Tops List In New 238 Infected Persons, Total Hits 2,170 . . As at 11: pm on May 1st, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported 238 new cases of the infectious disease, Covid-19 in Nigeria, pushing the total to 2,170. NCDC further disclosed that while a total of 351 people have been discharged, 68 people have been confirmed dead. NCDC also shared a breakdown of the total confirmed cases by state as at May 1, 2020. Lagos state continues to top the list but from report given, Kano state has taken over Lagos in daily report of new cases. Lagos needs an extra 7 days to confirm but the whole north is not less than 30 days because of the deliberate community spread going on |
