Local Govt COVID-19 Task Force Burst Social Gathering, Lie Defaulters Flat & Flogged Them Mercilessly In Delta

COVID-19 Task Force led by the executive chairman of Ughelli North, Chief Godwin Adode on Sunday evening bursted a social gathering at the Abraham’s event center in Ekredjebor, Ughelli.

Defaulters were neither wearing their nose masks nor observing social distancing as they celebrated.

Storming the event center after a tip-off, the local government chairman and his team that included policemen, made the defaulters to lie flat on the ground as they flogged them mercilessly for flouting the order of compulsory use of face masks in public.

Before invading the event center, the team had reportedly stormed the Ughelli main market to destroy wares of traders that defied the same directive. Posted below is a video from the operation.
