1) Restrict background app

� go to settings, click on data usage. You'll see how much each each is consuming data. Tap on the app, you'll see how much data it consumes when in use (Foreground) and when not in use (background).

If it's heavy, tap on restrict background data. That way it only uses data when in use.

P.S You can choose to restrict all apps, that way it's only the current app that you opened that run with data. It's only disadvantage is you can't work effectively on two apps at a time

2)Videos

I call them data sucker. � �
Saving and downloading the video saves data than watching online. Download vidmate app and use in downloading facebook, instagram and YouTube videos.
Alternatively, if you have to watch online you can reduce the video resolution.
