Anambra State Governor's Wife, Dr. Ebelechekwu Obiano, has extended her charitable deeds as she donated a newly commissioned bungalow and water borehole to a widow, Mrs Monica Okeke, of Ezihu Village in Igbo-Ukwu, Aguata Local Government Area.
Presenting the keys, Dr. Mrs Obiano said the new two-bedroom bungalow was intended to ensure that the beneficiary stays at home and safe, in the spirit of being one’s brother’s and sister’s keeper.
Dr. Mrs Obiano, who explained that the gesture was in line with the core objectives of her NGO, CAFÉ, to build free houses for indigent widows, noted that twenty-seven houses have been built and handed over to beneficiaries across Anambra State.
