airoport:He asked a logical question in deference to the earlier asinine comment he responded to. ‘Is your God deaf’ How does that make him insecure or a bully? This is not an issue, this is clownery.. There is no negative or positive inference that can be given in this laughable post so quit putting so much pressure on your brain. |

I so much believe in Almighty God. I am not an atheist as u may think. Wether u believe it or not, Religion is man made use to subjugate mankind. My question for you is Will God reject your prayer because you pray at home? Will God reject your worship because it was done at home? Will the Bible/Koran preached on radio/TV or Instagram become obsolete because it was preached via these medium? If your answer is No which is as good as mine, then the activities should be restricted only on those medium. Yes not everyone can afford internet but virtually Everyobe can afford radio and it even come with modern phones now. I have seen pastors who preach on air and tell listeners to believe and be blessed by saying amen and also given their life to Christ by just making a declaration that they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal savior. So those preaching or prayers are not valid? Remember even the was of worship has undergo different reform except if u claim u don't Know cos u haven't take time to research how religious activities were being conducted in the past. quote author=keystone123 post=89297181] Look at what you are saying. Do you believe in God at all. change your thoughts. This world is a market place we shall all return one day to give account of what we do either good or bad.. Think about that. The religious house were not close nor sensor can you see how people misbehave, if it now turn to online how bad will it became? What of people who will not have access to worship online? Let us think before we talk. It is not compulsory respond to every message[/quote] |

,chia hunger have finish him,he now voice out those offerings and tithes he have loose for some month it’s not easy for him. I think people will realize that not until you go to church or asalatu that your prayer will be answered God is will us everywhere we are Most African are blinded with religion, even British that brought religion here don’t behave the way we African behave when it religion, not only him . It’s some churches and some asalatu that they will say Those with 1000 upwards be on a line and come forward they will start to play music or choirs in church will sing, next 500, next 200,next 100. Those with 50above should come already letting us to know Nigeria currency. While people will given tithes of 50000000, millions of Naira those same people can’t help other life but give churches ,who are those collecting tithes. African are blinded a stage will come people will realize a lot, you will no longer see much people in churches and asalatu. Religion in African is man made. Fake pastor I saw a building of 24 rooms in Lagos each room is churches is it all of them God calll Hmmmmm May God save us in this world. You serve you God not by going to churches or asalatu but by Good heart ,Good behavior, kindness, loyalty,God fearing, worship and praise of God every minute of your life, appreciate him every minute of your life.all this worship and praise don’t you do it at home now that you don’t go to church, reading of your holy bible and Quran daily . |

Chosen1984:I still repeat,God can ever be isolated!!! God can exist without us,we are the one that needs him to exist!!! You are rather isolating yourself...not GOD!!! If not to drop tithe and offering, what do we need to PHYSICALLY go to church for God can use ANY MEANS to communicate to his people. We are in a civilized world pastor kotounkan!!! Go online to preach and bless your congregation!!! He used a burning bush before...not a pastor!!! You are the one that needs to be awake. Pastors are already missing all the monies!!! Even the Bible directs churches to obey their leaders!!! What has "going" to church fetched us I'll prefer to do business with an agbero than someone who says he "goes to church"!!! Going to church doesn't make you a believer or qualifies you for heaven bros!!! It's SALVATION!!! #saynotoslavery #bedirectlyconnectedtoGod 1 Like |

Prymestrr: Search my data giveaway posts on Nairaland. Besides, I do not do giveaways only at occasions like this. My wife and I have done two IDP camp visitations and we also provide food packs EVERY MONTH to disadvantaged communities in the FCT and beyond. I have given out clothes on countless occasions, paid UTME fees for people who could not and I have at least on two occasions, paid university school fees for people with hours to spare before their portals were to close. Not to talk of the guys here who I have empowered with freelance work. Some of them have worked with me for 3 years and one earned nearly a million before he secured employment with the fire service. Giving for me is a lifestyle, that is why I am very blessed. You talk of neighbours and people around me: I go a very big step further. I identify communities. Giving is a 5-fold ministry: - tithe - offering - parents - the poor - prophetic and kingdom offerings I do all of them. The more I do it, the more I receive: it is a mystery only God can reveal to an individual. 3 Likes |

The Holy Ghost visited Paul and Silas in Prison when they prayed and sang inturn, helped other people even the guard. God came to Moses in Mount Horeb as a burning bush when he least expected. Christ healed the sick, raised the dead and fed multitudes with physical food and spiritual food. In the new testament it is clear that no man can get to God except through Jesus Christ. I will not judge Papa G.O or condemn him, its one's choice to speak or do as they please... but one thing Ive been able to deduce from all these blogs is that the reality of heaven and hell is not the core. The fact that Jesus is coming soon is not emphasized especially from 'BIG' Churches Assuming this was the rapture that got us unaware, how do we do then? Remember judgment will start from the churches and in the end they will say they did say they did great works in the name of Jesus but Christ will say to them I know you not ,depart... I remember during shiloh programmes papa always say nobody gave him anything for his church to stand , I said to myself " that's not a very pleasant statement from a supposed gentleman".... In foreign nations, churches adhere to government rules afterall GOD has made the same govt. to be a lil passive with church activities In conclusion, don't speak for Papa coz he may not know your name, don't speak against him coz he is old enough to be you Dad. Follow Christ instruction by giving to the poor. Enlighten People about the love of God and to safety measures amidst this COVID malady. Forgive more and do the best you can to talk to God like a friend to remember you in his Ultimate Kingdom... Thank You all... |

To be honest.... I have been a big critique of his ways in handling issues but I don't want to b on that path any longer... Ofcourse I do not support most materialistic churches but I only wish they can be of positive benevolent impact in the lives of their members. Hence, Bishop should look beyond the Government of this world and start presenting the case of eternal life because no matter how righteous one thinks he is, it is a filthy rag bfore the MOST HIGH GOD.. Thanks |

Of course I do. The way of doing things are changing. So don't think if a service is hold online that it will not be honored or prayers will not be answered by God. quote author=keystone123 post=89297181] Look at what you are saying. akdjr:Please dont bring religious talk to this. Call me whatever you wish. Am a philosopher so... This is reality. its for our own good Yes, the virus could be contacted in the markets as well as churches. But lets tell ourselves the truth. You can survive without going to church in a whole month. But you cant survive hunger virus. So the risk of going to markets and spurning churches is far much an easier decition to make inorder to curtail the spread of the virus. Simple logic. 1 Like 1 Share |
