Nwanyiogwashi: One million boys are thieves and their deeds came to the fore because of the lockdown. They operated in their region but during the same very mild lockdown in Anambra, your poverty stricken people went to rob in rivers state because of hunger. Ask Wike. OFFICIAL336: look if you have issues with NBS mail them or head to their office, same as Oxford that conducted similar research... calling SW out of the 6 geo political zones barely shows you have deeply rooted issues and jealousy of SouthWest.. because Southwest doesn't even know what goes on in your enclave and they don't even care yet you make multiple post daily like they hold your destiny 2 Likes |

They will call SW shit hole but yet every years they kept coming to South West to make a living. Just pity them because they are in deep Pain since they saw the recent Poverty Statistics. 4 Likes

Beautifulminde3: Zombie, have you verified that fake news? https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/ogun-sifting-credible-information.html Ogun: Sifting credible information By Wale Osunbiyi writes-in from Kajola, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area. olawaleosunbiyi2016@gmail. | Feb 28, 2018 3:00 AM TwitterFacebookWhatsAppTelegram Barely days after the Ogun State launched its brand of rice- Mitros Rice reports surfaced online claiming there was no rice farm or factory anywhere in the gateway State where the rice was being bagged while some reported that the government mounted sand bags with some rice bags as part of its pyramid. Some reports even claimed that it was not available in any shop or selling point for customers to purchase. The sources of those reports will need to understand that we are no longer in the days of the ‘Invasion from Mars’ where some news sources can just believe their reports can lead to panic and successfully deceive members of the public. ADVERTISEMENT Dear valued readers, subscribe to the Daily Trust e-paper to continue enjoying our diet of authoritative news. Kindly subscribe here Members of the public know better that they have the power to verify news reports in order to ascertain if they are true or not. That is why it is imperative that sources of those reports visit the Eggua farm and others where the Mitros rice has been grown in the State. Their reports have inspired me to buy the product as well as visit the Mitros Asero rice Mill where work has been on going under hygienic condition. At the Asero facility alone there are three rice mills. They also need to visit two major rice processing facilities at Asero in Abeokuta and Sawonjo in Iju LCDA. These are verifiable facts that cannot be hidden. Although the state is in the process of selecting distributors for its brand of rice the product has been on sale at the Farmers Market in Asero and at the State’s Convenient Market known as Oja Irorun which holds at the Block D of the Government Secretariat, Oke-Mosan. The state government has linked the report to various detractors who want to score cheap political points. But this is not the first time some news sources have painted the State in such bad light. The recent false report about the relocation of the state’s School of Nursing from Ijebu Ode to Abeokuta is one of different examples. Instead of acknowledging the commendable effort of the government in getting the school accredited some online sources preferred to diffuse the online space with the false report. Again, it is a verifiable fact that the school is still located in Ijebu Ode and not Abeokuta. Since the source of these reports are utilizing the weaknesses of the internet to achieve their parochial and vicious interests it is important for members of the audience to be more careful at jumping into hasty conclusions but rather take the bold step of confirming in various credible mediums. |

OFFICIAL336: honestly I don't give a fvck about what you think about Osun state , but rather than showing negativity, why not also conduct your own research and statistics which you feel is more better than NBS's own or that of Oxford analytical, rather than lamenting on SouthWest Prosperity out of envy 1 Like |

totit: there bitterness is getting alarming like there movies where Patience Ozuorkor and Pete Edochie just continue to bitterly hate on others out of wicked envy and jealousy Lamidi kanu's Facebook page got locked for posting fake news, he blamed Yoruba, he claims Yoruba pastors should not lead them, 6 years in power with Jonathan they still turn around to claim Yoruba stopped their development because of lagos sea port, 15 million Nigerians from North and South voted for buhari, they still blame only yorubas for installing him on them... everything is always Yoruba to them like an addiction yet they wont leave Yoruba land |

I went through three pages of this thread looking for the pictures and videos of the rice mill in the second highest rice producing state and nobody could provide even a Photoshop picture or stolen one. The same people who will rush to post beautiful Ibadan pictures could not provide common one picture of a rice mill. Definitely na audio statistics and audio rice. No be their governor them catch wey use bags of sand build rice pyramid. 4 Likes |

Ucheosefoh:Na person wey no sabi those people go believe their oluwole tendencies, na so so fraud and deception dem sabi. They control the media in Nigeria for a reason, and all the narratives they have always pandered to, have been hinged on sheer lies and half-truths. They say the Igbos migrate to the SW and leave our "potopoto" region desolate, yet somehow the rate of real estate projects taking over the East are owned by whom? ghosts I guess, all the local manufacturing industries, businesses, firms etc and other economically viable concentrations in commercial nerves likes Awka, Nnewi, Aba, Onitsha are owned, operated and patronized by ghosts? I don't even think any SW town outside of Lagos beats Asaba where I come from on any index of urban planning. All the industries and companion located in places like Lagos, Ibadan and Ogun states are either owned by foreigners or other Nigerians especially Igbos (challenge them to list out all the top private companies in their states) you will find out that a good number aren't even owned by the indigenes. But here in Delta stage which isn't even homogeneously an Igbo state, so many of the private sector companies are owned by Igbos. Needless to mention the SE where everything is 100% Igbo owned. How many major Yoruba owned companies(with the exception of Glo) are even operating on a large scale in the South South and North compared to the Igbos? The problem with those people is that they don't travel out- except of course when they run out of white collar jobs and run to the UK to clean toilets etc. 4 Likes |
