COVID-19 patients protest in Niger state, threaten to abscond over poor treatment (video)

COVID-19 patients in Niger state on Wednesday, May 6th staged a protest in their Isolation center over what they termed poor welfare and treatment meted at them.

They requested to be allowed to go back to their homes instead of being left to ''die of hunger'' at the isolation facility. This comes after COVID19 patients in Gombe state also staged their own protest.

Meanwhile one of the patients at the Niger state Isolation center has absconded from the Isolation center. This was disclosed on the state government's Twitter handle.

Its time for us as Nigerians to realise that we don't have a govt ....
The isolation centres are so bad they couldn't take Abba kyari there , Ali modu sheriff gave false information to ncdc on his where abouts to avoid been tested and moved to the isolation centre if found positive....
The other day I was listening to wale aruleba on AIT and he talked about a certain doctor who came into Nigeria did a test , travelled without seeing results and went to a private hospital for.treatment when he was showing symptoms . all in a bid to avoid the isolation centres ....
The big question now is who is deceiving who ....even the ncdc boss wouldn't go to this isolation centres If he tests positive today and u expect people not to abscond when they are treated poorly....
I am deeply sorry for Nigeria !
