There is growth of teenage pregnancy in most of the local government areas in Benue State. Teenage pregnancy, also known as adolescent pregnancy, is pregnancy in a female under the age of 20. Pregnancy can occur with sexual intercourse after the start of ovulation, which can be before the first menstrual period (menarche) but usually occurs after the onset of periods.
Most of the local government areas in Benue State especially those that are quiet far away from makurdi usually experience high number of teenage pregnancy cases.

2. Most of the teenagers in local government areas in Benue state tend to lost their rights in their families
Most of the teenagers in local government areas in Benue state tend to lose their rights in their families because of the level of disappointment given their parents or sponsor. They parents or guardian of these teenagers tend to throw them out or marry them out to older men. The list of the problems is endless but let is stop here.
