Madagascar COVID-19 Organic Medicine Rejected By ECOWAS, Seeks Help From South Africa Scientists

Madagascar is the only country to ever claimed to have found Coronavirus medicine.



The organic medicine is made from Artemisia herb. The president of Madagascar had initially claimed that the medicine is tested and works. Though the country has shown is willing to help other countries, they have suffered a setback after ECOWAS reject the organic medicine.

In a press that took place on May 6, ECOWAS commission said it disassociate it's self from claims that the regional block had ordered organic medicine from Madagascar.

“We wish to dissociate ECOWAS and its health institution, West Africa Health Organization, WAHO, from this claim and inform the general public that we have not ordered the said CVO medicine,”



Madagascar has alread donated their organic in countries such as Equatorial Guinea, Republic of Congo and Guinea-Bissau. Guinea- Bissau received the consignment on behalf of ECOWAS region and it is expected to distribute to the member countries.

Meanwhile, South Africa Minister Of Health Zweli Mkhize has confirmed call from Madagascar. Zweli said that Madagascar had requested scientific assistance. They are required to help in scientific research on Artemisia- the herb they used in making COVID- organic. 

“We received a call from the government of Madagascar, who asked for help with scientific research. Our scientists would be able to assist with this research. We will only get involved in a scientific analysis of the herb. We are not at that point yet,” Mkhize said on Twitter.

We hope for positive results.

I think Madagascar are being too generous with the drug which is why all these health bodies and countries take them as a joke.

Nigeria won't turn to them until the virus wipes of a chunk of our population and they start spending trillions to bring it in.

Since the world wants "scientific proof" Madagascar should keep the medicine to themselves. When the COVID-19 wrecks much more havoc, the world will beg them for it.

Meanwhile Nigeria cannot use the drugs because our lender has not approve of it. Nigeria is now almajiri, after eating Alhaji's food, we do whatever he commands.

The active ingredient is Artemisinin, which has been in use for malaria treatment in the form of ACT(Artemisinin combination therapy) for decades.
When you take Coartem, Lonart, etc, you're taking Artemisinin. I don't know what new thing Madagascar think they've brought to the table.
Artemisinin was discovered in China some years ago for the treatment of malaria, and the plant is still dominant there till date.
If the drug had any effectiveness against covid19, China would have been the first to go public with it.

Even when China wanted to keep the outbreak secret, a Chinese doctor, who later died, still raised alarm about the new virus, at the detriment of his life.
Drugs are produced by medical professionals, and there's no where in the world today, a drug will be produced and the international medical community won't know about it.

China's success was mainly due to their aggressive prosecution of their lockdown, which no other country has been able to match so far.

You mustn't be on drugs to recover from covid 19. Only a few who develop complications die. Majority have mild to moderate symptoms and can recover with no treatment.

These cells are the guards and soldiers in the body.
So, in many healthy individuals, the immune cells are able to attack and successfully destroy them.
However, in some others with compromised immunity or where the immune response becomes exaggerated, complications may arise and the individual may succumb.

Think about when you had flu and recovered. It's your immune cells that did the job, and not the supportive treatment(paracetamol, vitamin c, cough syrups, ect) you received, as there's no specific cure for the virus causing the flu symptoms.
Those supportive treatments are to make you comfortable, while your immune cells do the actual fighting against the virus.

you can read this handbook of covid-19 prevention and treatment that is made by the first affiliated hospital,Zhejiang University School of Medicine,which is in Zhejiang Province, China.
there are no effective drugs.what doctors can do mostly are supportive treatments.
