There is no doubt that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is a big asset to the government of President Muhammadu Buhari. The President recognized this fact and gave him sundry roles early in the life of his administration. He further rewarded the VP's unalloyed loyalty with more frontline roles as strange ailment struck him and limited his functionality. Eventually, it became necessary that the President would go away, for months, to UK to receive specialized medical care.

In line with constitutional provision, VP Osinbajo assumed office as acting President. He performed confidently and brilliantly that so many of his fans went too far in praising him to high heavens. The kitchen cabinet of the President viewed this wild praises as a sign that the VP was outshining his boss. They were irked. Thus an interesting power play arose. Pres. Buhari's office and personal staff led by late Abba Kyari began to assert themselves aggressively to protect Pres. Buhari's image and office. The process of cutting VP Osinbajo to size began. Even with the President still recuperating after successful treatment, certain roles hitherto given to the VP were subtly recovered.

Immediately after 2nd term began, the total take-over of the policymaking and implementation roles earlier assigned to VP Osinbanjo was launched. The announcement that all communications with Pres. Buhari must pass through Abba Kyari heralded the final onslaught. Thereafter, the office of VP was stripped bare and the VP Osinbajo was kept where he, constitutionally, belongs. Thus, Buhari's men led by erudite and cerebral Abba Kyari took over the policy engine room completely, determined to put up legacies for which Pres. Buhari alone will take whole credit devoid of faintest chorus of "starboy" as VP Osinbajo's fan fondly call him.

But as fate would have it, Abba Kyari answered Allah's call and a vacuum appeared even as urgent response was needed to tackle post COVID-19 pandemic effect on the nation's economy. Once again, Pres. Buhari called on VP Osinbajo to chair the Economic Sustainability Committee that will draw up comprehensive and adequate reactions to various opportunities and threats, which the impact of COVID-19 pandemic will create.

So far, VP Osinbajo and his committee have worked tirelessly and consulted widely to develop a formidable roadmap. As we await the rolling out of this all-important plan in the weeks ahead, it is important that this time around, the fans of VP Osinbajo will be modest in their reactions. They should keep in mind the famous "Law of Power" that advised that nobody should outshine his boss. They should restrain themselves and where necessary give credit to Pres. Buhari for any accomplishment as the overall head of the Executive Team of which VP, ministers and advisers are members. We are in a critical time that demands all hands on deck.

Baseless tripe written by a sycophantic fan due to joblessness.

The script OBJ wrote which favored GEJ was imitated by the man living at bourdillion road, but the north expected that and threw a checkmate in the person of one jibrun grin

The rest as they say, is ancient history.

Not even politicians from your geopolitical zone, state or villages have your interest at heart....

If only you can Vote ManOfSteel for President 2023

Instead of learning one or two things from the VP, the old fella preferred to remain incompetent and ensure that no one outshines his dead bulb. Most of those that have been screaming "star boy" in praise of the old VP are mostly low IQ fellows, who can only praise good performance only when it involves people from their tribe.

Stop spreading false stories, the president and his vice has been managing a very good and smooth relationship all this while and there is no rift whatsoever between this two great men.

Just yesterday, President Buhari set up a power Sector Reform Working Group led by Prof Osinbajo, other members includes Kaduna Gov, Power & Finance Ministers, CBN Gov & Special Adviser on Infrastructure and others. The President's objective: significantly improve output in sector for the masses.

The truth of the matter is that the president and his VP have this connection and bond that we never seen in this country since the inception of democracy and it is what it is. The president trust Osinbajo inside out and all the achievement of the VP, is president's achievement.

Nigerians know say... Hausa Fulani don throw em out of government...

the effect of kyari is still visible... we all saw ,the great jubilation in southwest... with kemi leading the pack to announce kyari death days before he died.
Pretence is one attribute of a Bayerebe.... especially when they’re in partnership.

Yoruba want Nigerians to believe that al is well with Osibanjo and Buhari.. grin

Yet Kyari cage southwest, repositioned Tinubu..position Osibanjo .... with cries from Yoruba people, name calling by Yoruba media on Kyari.. Buhari read all and kept mute.. kyari held ship..

Bayerebe think say all 350 ethnic groups are Yoruba and wish to force their propaganda

Just the way Nigerians didn't forget the impeccable work Idiagbon did when Buhari was his boss, Nigerians will not forget Osinbajo's unprecedented achievements during Buhari's 8years term.

It is has simple as that.

This is Nigeria! It belongs to everybody. Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo have ruled. And Nigeria is still one. United we stand. Even with all the woes, we still remain United.

Im sure all is obviously and psychologically well between buhari and Osinbajo. An example of the sign is that PMB trust Osinbajo with country's economy; the main organ of a nation. If it is something contrary, PMB would have asked him to head PTF covid19. Their bond and connection is scarce, that's the truth

I can assure you that this write-up is never meant to "cause and confusion between the President and Vice President". Far from it. The focus is on the power play that occurred and likely to occur in the presidency if the Vice President is unnecessarily hyped for delivering on the roles assigned to him by the President.

Threats are supposed to be identified and managed rather than ignored.

Zombies and packing the bus.

Poster is on 30k monthly just like you all but he decided to cast aside hypocrisy to say the truth for once, but see how they have swooned on him like ant on sugar.

We were here when they started handing over to him when they go vacation, we were also here when they stopped handing over to him and started taking documents to London themselves.

Buhari, inebriated with illness most times don't even know nor understand the power play going on around him.
