Buhari mobilised the NCDC with N5 Billion to protect the country from Covid-19. Instead of mobilising for test kits and centres to quickly identify, Isolate and treat infected ones, they went on a jamboree building isolation centres.

If they believed we needed isolation centres around the country, that means the NCDC clearly knew the spread was ongoing.

Now see the mess.

They just swallowed the N5 Billion.

Dangote should channel what is left of the CACOVID funds towards mobile test centres and medicines which NCDC use for their treatment protocol. That is what is left to do.

Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones.

It's the virus, Or is it a coincidence that all this is happening right now? Why didn't people die mysteriously in large number before the virus?
then what about Lagos? We should be getting such reports from there also.

PS. While we haven't engaged before I'm not trying to make this a north vs south thing that Nairaland is now known for

North I pity them... Na now Government for that side go know say Education be good

What is education doing for us here? The so called heads are yet to mobilise for aggressive random sample tests to determine the gravity of things and depending on lockdown as Covid-19 cure.

Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones.

This is the price you pay for ignorance. Even PMB refused to listen to the people when calls were made for him to shut down airports, seaports and land borders. Ignorance they is a disease.

hmm!

There's no cause for alarm, something must be done about it.

If only people can obey the rules of COVID-19.

100 people die and “there’s no cause for alarm?”

What kind of wicked soul are you?
What causes an alarm? When 3.1 million die?

How will people not die when there's no proactive measures in place, I just hope other state governors can be as proactive as Lagos and Kaduna. My fear is when CoronaVirus in Kogi start manifesting, it'll have been out of hand. That governor just chose to be stupid and irresponsible

What else do you want the Governor of Kogi State to do?
Did you not see the TENT he said he built for #7Billion and how the slightest wind uprooted the useless tent? grin grin
May Covid-19 kill all those Politicians and Govt officials using the Virus to make money for themselves while wasting people's life unnecessarily

CoronaVirus is now being used to loot money, by Nigerian Govt officials.
