According To The United Nations, Africa has 54 countries, excluding Western Sahara. But for the African Union, Africa has 55 countries, including Western Sahara. Western Sahara and Morocco have been locked in a prolonged conflict for decades. It got so bad that morocco had to exit the AU and only returned in 2017. Each country in Africa has many languages, sometimes, up to 500 different languages. This is an opportunity but a challenge at the same time. The most populous country in Africa is Nigeria in the West with more than 200 million people while Ethiopia in the East and Egypt in the North are second and third respectively.
