The front door is an essential part of modern architecture and home design, but have you ever wondered why it was invented? The front door was created to provide privacy and security to homeowners, as well as to regulate access to their property. Before the front door, homes were open to the street, making them vulnerable to intruders and wild animals. With the invention of the front door, homeowners could control who was allowed into their homes and when. So next time you go now through your front door, remember its important history and the role it has played in keeping our homes safe and secure.
