Are you saying they have to travel to Abuja before you can process their salaries? What is the importance of online platform then? Now you have not paid April salary to workers on 11th May in tertiary institutions despite the fact that they enrolled in IPPIS. You better say the truth.

At the end, they will still borrow, If ask to give account of the money now, the will direct it to school feeding, trade money, market money or even say they want to use in for the 2nd Niger Delta Bridge. Backward Government

The way they call money in billions these days. Yet, we've not seen the effects on the lives.

Meanwhile, the IPPIS is fraught with a lot of illegal deductions, and those on it earn much less than their legal pay

Haba mallam, even buhari will not tell you he implemented IPPIS. He only extended it away from the core civil service who has been on it for a very long time to the military, paramilitary and tertiary education. We will also encourage him to extend same to CBN, FIRS, NNPC and others not yet on the platform. If he can do this as well as make plain the amount of money generated by this agencies of government for government then he would have done well.

He should also make those jobs not attractive by making the salaries and allowances of the civil service to be at closing to par with those of the agencies above. Then we know that they are all government workers. It's a scam for an agency to generate for government take percentages for it's running cost and determine her salaries by herself at the detriment of others.

adanny01:

TSA proposed by Jonathan in 2012, implementation was by Buhari.

IPPS proposed in 2007, implementation was by Buhari.

Buhari is the only President in recent times with the will to do it right. Jonathan had the vision of doing it right but had no will of implementation which was due to his cabal who cared for their stomachs only.

Don't get me wrong, Buhari's cabal want it the same way but Buhari will not sanction it. Some of them end up with what they want and others far less than what they expected. At the end, the rot has reduced even if by 1%.

So after all the long story when will April salary be paid or are we not going to get paid at all? IPPIS and the government are wicked, they have looted enough to last their 10th generation and leaving us the poor civil servants to starve to death... God will judge them all.

Mad oo grin, steady cash out

If ASUU like make dem die
. Comrades in ASUU, Wake up - The battle has just begun.

The FGN has forcefully and illegally migrated ASUU members to a high mountain (IPPIS) in a treacherously manipulated fiat. This is a high level arm-twisting; in a "Machiavellian" style. This is the kind of politicking that has left Nigeria and Nigerians the way we are today, after 60 years of independence, still waiting for the white man to tell us where to go. Nigeria can be likened to a child without parents, or at best, with very callously silly, careless and directionless guidians. This is the tragedy of our country, Nigeria.

And this is the strategy they have successfully employed/used to split Nigerians into the present two groups of "the haves" and "the have nots"; to the extent that the "have nots" (who are the majority) have been so manipulated, weakened and inpowerished to the extent they have no voice of their own, and so cannot organize themselves to confront and challenge the injustice/inequalities, and protest the hegemony of the powerful few. This, for them, is a divide and rule strategy.

They have walked into ASUU's trap. They never remember history. Now, even the weakest comrade is "strong" enough to confront what is ahead. Please, let us spend wisely. "The battle has just begun". The journey ahead is far. It is a last battle to wrestle and rescue the future of Nigeria, and save our children yet unborn, from the hands and grips of a cabal, agents of neocolonialists, agents of the international bouguisie class, the Word Bank, (the agents and manipulators of Africa's understand development and backwardness).

Post colonial Africa is now suffering a new style of colonialism by China. The chinese government has commenced massive buying of Africa. Imagine what has happened in Zambia, even while Kenneth Kaunda is still alive. Do you remember that literature book "Zambia shall be free"?. China couldn't even wait for Kaunda to leave for the great beyond before coming to change the title of the book. At least, it would have been "the ants to take the news" to Kenneth Kaunda in his grave, that Zambia is no longer free.

Comrades, this digression is to point out a few things related to our struggle.
Do you know that Nigeria has 129 solid minerals scattered across the length and breadth of the country?; Followed by the USA with just 9? Solid minerals are used to make microchips. But Nigeria imports every product of microchip technology. The Germans and the Chinese are busy mining these solids minerals illegally, and China loans back to Nigeria the proceeds, so that when we are unable to pay back the loans, they will seize Nigeria like they have done to Zambia. Then Nigerians will go to the churches and mosques praying. Remember that what Fr Kuka said about Africa's development. That "while we(Africa) were praying", America, Asia Europe and the rest of the world were developing various technologies. Africa was busy building mosques and churches, which the pastors use to further exploit their various congratulations.

Imagine that Madagascar develops an anti- Corona virus drug/vaccine and WHO says that it cannot consider that as a Covid-19 breakthrough because it is produced by black African researchers in a black African country. That nothing good can come from Africa. And a group of people calling themselves members of a Presidential Task Force on covid-19 in Nigeria, are looking the other way, the way of WHO, without any initiative of even looking inwards and empowering local pharmaceutical industries, Professors in the Universities and research institutes.
Nigeria is waiting for WHO's West or USA or Asia to produce Covid-19 vaccine and sell them, so that they will further devalue the Naira.

While others nations are distributing food and money to their citizens because of the corona lockdown, the Nigerian government is busy borrowing money, squandering our foreign reserves and setting vital documents ablaze in strategic offices, and pretending to be distributing palliatives, test kits, money etc.

Sorry, comrades, I have digressed so much. This is because the problems of Nigeria are too multiple and multifasiatiated that when speaking about one aspect, many other things interject. Let us go back to the ASUU issue please.

In Nigeria, ASUU is the only remaining/standing voice to speak for, and save the country from this menace of bad leadership. NLC, NUPENG & PENGASEN, SUG, etc have all been shut long ago.

Remember, to enslave the citizens of a nation and keep them underdeveloped does not require physical military warfare. You only need to ensure that the people have "no access to education". Once this is done, the people would be disempowered and disarmed. They will be unable to stand up for any collective struggle for their rights. This is why the world bank is vehemently resisting any conscious attempt to provide good education for Nigerian children. What we have in Nigeria presently is "free education" that is almost "free of knowledge", according to the famous and legendary public speaker and Historian, PLO Lumumber.

What ASUU demands from the Federal government of Nigeria is that the children should have access to"average" education, that meets the minimum international standard.

Presently, except in the FCT, all public primary and secondary Schools are no longer properly functional, because the teachers are not paid, and so they have all gone into the land, farming to feed their families. Then the government agents have taken over, with the booming business of private primary and secondary schools. It is the same thing they are planning to do to the public Universities in Nigeria, so that their investments in the private Universities can flourish.

Can you imagine that Nigeria is the only country where industries pay education tax without asking for results? She'gye'.

Comrades, what ASUU is demanding from the government is that:
1. Government must fund education (provide teaching aids, laboratory equipment, class rooms, hostels etc for the students).
2. Government must pay lecturers and researchers living wages.
3. Government must honor the agreements they freely enter into with ASUU.

The battle has just started. If need be, let us go for the Ghana option. This should be ASUU's last strike.
All you will loose is your chain. Don't waver. Be strong. Remember that "Slavery and Freedom are mental states".
Stay lockdown, stay at home and remain safe.

Aluta continua!! Victoria Acerta!!!

Wickedtruths:
Seyi Makinde and the ghost workers he's employing won't be happy.

Even his wife is a ghost worker. His wife is an engineer and he made her the head of the Oyo State action committee on AIDS (OYSACA). She doesn't show up but draws salaries and allowances.
I don't know about Seyi makinde employing Ghost workers but one thing I'm sure of is that wives of the past two governors of oyo state were the headsof the Oyo state action committee on AIDS during the administrations of their husbands. Kemi Akala was during Akala's stint and Florence Ajimobi was during her husband's stint.

They deducted all the allowances from ASUU and paid them only the basic salary. The tax has been doubled and lecturers salary have been deducted heavily up to 100k.

No doubt about that, before now most ministeries do overbloat their work force to siphon monies illegally, but with the coming of IPPIS, that won't work.
