We are still undertesting. Mauritius today are covid19 freed. They had 332 cases. Discharged 322 and recorded 10 deaths. But they performed 69,773 tests. We need to conduct more tests.

How's it possible..... they had 332 cases and discharged 332?? shocked shocked

Instead of equipping private lab who are capable of handling the test with just #50m worth of equipment, the government is busy setting up one committee to the other, sharing millions to them just for doing zoom meeting.
This country is pathetic!

Someone should pls inform NCDC that the purpose of their inflated figures every 11:30pm which is basically to spread panic has been defeated. We're no longer scared. Corona virus is very much present in Nigeria but these figures are inflated..
I still think that the REAL confirmed cases of Covid 19 in Nigeria are not up to 700..

Now some people will come saying that this cases are actually undereported cos of low testing capacity but how many people have dropped dead in your areas?

And some people will say what about mysterious deaths in the North and I'll say did anyone conduct autopsy to confirm that it's Covid 19 that killed them all? Or have people not been dying mysteriously before the coming of Covid? Isn't it funny that all deaths in Nigeria are now attributed to Covid 19?
Bro, so you think it's the number of deaths that determine the number of persons with the virus You don't know there are several persons who have the virus but don't even know they have it? Who told you guys the virus is a death sentence?

The question is simple and it doesn't require much argument, how many people dropped dead in your area as a result of Corona virus? The truth is that, the fatality ratio is very low. Ebola virus is among the deadliest viruses, with a CFR as high as 90%. But reverse is the case of covid19 having a case fatality ratio of 3%, why the panic when you can heal from the virus without any form of treatment.
What percentage of 200 million is 164?

By the way your comment has no correlation with what I wrote up there...

Nigerian government really needs to collaborate with private labs. Other countries, in USA are working with their private sector in this pandemic. Infact, it was a private scientist org in collaboration with US government that produced redem.

But why are these people not falling sick, and how many ambulances have come to pick people in your areas or won't they fall sick after contracting the virus?

Maybe you didn't get me clearly. The fatality rate of the virus isn't that high. It's just that it spreads super fast. I repeat, so many have it without knowing they do, you mustn't drop dead for people to know it's the virus. There are several "healthy" people with the virus. So, don't count on the death rate or the number of persons falling sick to determine the number of persons who have it.

You did not read what he said, he said Nigeria has solutions that can fight against the virus just as the Madagascar one does. And the government should patronise her local people first
Sentiments apart, Nigeria has nothing above the virus for now...
