Out of the 195 candidates accused of exam malpractice by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Monday, 102 appeared for the exam in six states.

The states do not refer to the states of origin of the candidates, but to the states where they took the exam.

The examination board said in its weekly bulletin published Monday that of the 1,945,983 candidates who sat for the 2020 exam, prima facie cases of exam misconduct have been settled against 195 candidates.
The review of nominated candidates shows that Imo State has the highest turnout with 25 candidates taking the exam in the state. Imo is followed by Anambra, where 16 of the cheating candidates took the exam.

Kaduna, Kano, Enugu, each with 15 candidates, and Plateau with 13 candidates, complete the top six states with the highest number of cheating candidates.

Please is there a verified source for this news? Cheating is really a bad thing but I understand why IMO state has the highest number of malpractice cases it's due to the high populace that register for that exam every year
