"Disappointment is a blessing. If you were never disappointed you would never know what was Important to you. Sometimes we ask ourselves why did this have to happen to me/him/her? Regardless of the kind of struggles we face, we are probably better off when we look beyond whether or not the situation is Fair? We should learn to be greatful to God for everything, you lost your Job not your life, You lost your baby not your womb. At every point in time you will be disappointed so dont because of being disappointed commit suicide. Close Friends will dissapoint you, parents and others so don't because you've not gotten a Job give up. Hardships come in many forms and they can certainly seem insurmountable, but however difficult they never truly are. If you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.” Every hardship can be a significant dot leading you into a better future. Even the seemingly worst can take our lives to the next level. “You get as much from your losses as you do from your victories, because the losses are there to wake you up". Fearing disappointment prevents us from taking risks and dreaming big. But it does not prevent disappointment itself. But what I believe we ought to tell each other is: “yes, try”, or “go for it, see how it turns out”! And then teach each other how to get back up when the disappointment does come. Because oh yes, it will come. Often. Your dreams may become smaller from receiving discouragement, but the disappointment won’t.
Disappointment is a great assistant in getting clarity on what you do and don’t want. No more, no less. And one of the most interesting lessons I learned, is that when you stop to consider why you are disappointed at any given time and dig in a little deeper, you can discover some amazing new goals to work towards. Be it in work, relationships or life in general.
May God help us all
