To be honest there is nothing to be excited about here cos these funds will never be used for any purpose that will benefit the citizenry. Once they struggle to pay salaries of government workers, that's the end cos no one can understand in real terms how judiciously the rest of the funds improve the lives of many more citizens who aren't in the payroll of government |

Until we admit to ourselves that we are a poor country, we cannot get anywhere. Even if we produced and sold 6 million barrels a day, we would still be very poor. As it's 70% our income source. Under 150 to 200 trillion Naira budget is inadequate. Comprehensive health care, Education, infrastructure (roads, water, electricity, railway, etc), welfare system, housing, Agric subsidy, recurrent expenditure/civil service, science & tech, defense, law enforcement/security, judiciary, political institutions, etc. We should mellow and eat humble pie. Beginning with family planning/birth/population control. Otherwise we will just be producing more criminals and street urchins. 9 Likes 1 Share |

if you like , kil yourself for Nigeria matter, las las its only #68 (naira) daily that the government can afford to spend on your head, everything being equal. Its a simple maths; #5trillion (annual budget)/ 200million (population) = #25000 (per capita) #25000 /365 days = #68naira (for each Nigerian daily) This is assuming the polithiefians did not embezzle 90% of the money as usual. . 2 Likes |

UdechiHD: Parliamentary for real? It seems you don't know how systems of government operates. There's no way Nigeria can practice parliamentary system of government.. federal system is the best bet, because with that every body gets represented, it is only failing here because we are corrupt. 1 Like |
