A retired Police officer, Audu Aliya, from Taraba state, has been presented with N10 million having emerged the star winner of the First Bank Golden Anniversary Promo draw. The draw was conducted and certified by a renowned accounting firm, KPMG, in Lagos a few days ago.
Aliya operates a savings account with Ganye-Adamawa branch of the bank.

Apart from Aliya, two other lucky winners included Bolorunduro Emmanuel Olukayode, a staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), with an account at the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Lagos branch of the bank and Kayin Peter Asiugbon, a lecturer at the Lagos State Polytechnic, who also emerged winners of a Kia Picanto car each. In all, a total of 215 lucky customers of the bank smiled home with various household and cash prizes at the draw.

The promo is coming on the heels of a recently concluded Big Splash promo which ended in March this year where 12 customers from the six geo-political zones of the bank drove home 12 brand new Toyota Corolla cars, nine customers each from the market facing directorates of the bank won three star prizes ranging from a Toyota Prado jeep (2009 A/T model), a Kia Sportage SUV, a Honda City car and six consolation prizes.

To participate in the Golden Promo, customers are required to deposit a minimum of N10,000 for 30 days every month from June, 2010, to qualify for the monthly and quarterly draws. To qualify for the Golden Anniversary draw, customers are expected to save a minimum of N50,000 for 30 days within each month up to the month of the Golden Anniversary draw. Additional opportunity is given to customers who save N50,000 every month to also participate in the monthly and quarterly draws.
