We all know where all this will end, just stories on the pages of newspapers as usual.

Those who supposed to do something are inside aircon sipping chilled beer.

RIP to the dead though

This curfew must stop. Period. It has become something of opportunism by those in charge

Those Enugwukwu youths were mean o . The only thing that saved the police station was that they started begging. Serious begging o.

At first the police started shooting tear gas and blocked the Nimo road leading to the police station because the boys headed to the station to set it on fire. The boys retreated and later came back , this time numbering like more than 500 youths.
They shot in the air and used tear gas but it didn't work. All of them continued heading to the station.

Then at the station the police started begging and begging until they calmed down and i think some agreement s were done before they let go .
That yesterday the youths wanted to take the boy to the hospital when he was still breathing but the police refused..The guy died in the police station yesterday night .

I wish they burnt down the police station.
God will punish you for this lies... The boy died at Nnewi teaching hospital.. Get ur facts right!!

The police took him to bekke hospital where they were referred to Nnewi teaching hospital... And that was were the victim died..

As for yesterday... Police were more than prepared for the Youths.. And they did the first thing expected of them.. PEACE TALK!!.. If those youths had resolved to violence after the peace talk... They would have seen the last of some of them... The attack plan was formidable...

Quit peddling rumours and state facts.!! Police didnt hit, shot, or left the boy at the station to die.. The shuttle driver that hit the boy was arrested and his vehicle impounded.. How on earth did police kill the boy?.

God has already punished you by making you an ordinary sergeant.
Continue supporting your colleagues

Let me look for glasses for you.

Someone asked if you are an officer and you refused to own up.
You went and created another counter thread. Keep on defending your colleagues.
Keep on lying.
I will soon get you glasses to reread what I wrote that warrants that insult from you.

hahahaha.. I dont need to be a police officer to do small findings and know the truth of every situation..especially where is your area. I am not like you that listen to hear say and run straight to nairaland to post...

Police officers are humans too.. And yes some of them mess up all the time.. But its shallow to blame them where its not necessary and worse still.. When its not true!!..

Get ur facts right before u post... Madam sergeant.. grin

.

What I hate is when someone replies with insult.
I didn't run to nairaland to post. I saw the thread and since it happened in my hood i decided to share my own experience.
So learn how to talk Sergeant.
I m from Nimo and my compound is along that road beside your police station.

well, first off.. I'm not a police sergeant.. And if u're really from Nimo and leave along the road... You shouldnt have posted ur experience based on hear say... A little findings wont hurt.. Just like i did.. U could have done so too...

Today i went and saw the shuttle bus myself.. The impact on the body is there... The only involvement of police in the whole saga was that they were at the scene of the accident before it happened..

Intel from the driver's statement says police was on their way down in their own vehicle when he hit the victim

One of them then jumped down from their own vehicle, held him and commanded him to drive to the station.. While the rest took the injured boy to bekke hospital.. From there to Nnewi... Where he finally died.. And his corpse was returned back to bekke hospital for deposition

... Dear.. In as much as everyone hates police.. Lets try to view things from different angles before we cast judgement... And Nimo people actually displayed cowardice that day... Imagine another town marching in numbers to destroy the govt property in their town..

I mean.. Enugwu ukwu town has never been at peace that the police station was brought to Nimo.. And they wanted to cease that avenue to destroy it and Nimo people just kept Mum.. Well thats for another day...

Sorry if i was a bit harsh earlier.. I just find it irritating when young people react to stories on vague hearings... Especially if dey can do some findings... Once more.. I'm sorry for the harsh start up

Nimo people didn't want the police station in Nimo in the first place. Our former PG brought the police station against our wish.

So majority has been against that station there. So imagine if they succeeded in setting it ablaze. cheesy

This is a very complex situation. removing SARS is stupid, but not reforming SARS is stupid as well. If you remove SARS it will create a vacuum and more crime and death will follow.

The way this guy was killed is so annoying.
If they don't jail the killer, the killer must be jailed
