The street of Oyo state is currently line with falsehood as regard lifting of ban on worship centres. It was earlier reported that Governor seyi Makinde had a virtual meeting with all the top religious officials and no consensus was reach as regard reopening of worship centres. The Governor on his verified twitter handle declare the statement as null and void. He said very soon worship centres will be reopen but based on conditions which is yet to be announced.
He said:

A statement is circulating in the Press purportedly from me, stating that we have lifted the restrictions on social distancing regarding places of worship including mosques and churches. This information is FALSE and should be completely disregarded.
