I was privileged to visit a village in Ondo state, and I was shown around the place, then my host took me to a forest very close to express road. (I love visiting thick forests, the last time I visited one, I caught a bird). We went to a mountain that has water coming out of it. The water looks clean, and I tasted it cos he said it's safe for drinking. I was told the water runs nonstop even during the dry season, and people usually come around to fetch the water for domestic and spiritual(afonja) use. The most surprising thing about the village is that their land doesn't have water, their wells rarely have water unless they dig a borehole.
Who has any explanation behind this myth of water coming from rock in a village that has no water in its land.
