The 1952 Nigeria Ethnicity Census Result by pazienza(m): 8:17pm On May 22, 2020 |
This is alledged to be the last fairly credible Census ever carried out in Nigeria, as the subsequent ones were marred with irregularities. Though many still believe the British inflated the Northern figures in 1952, but there was never any contest over who was the most populous in Southern Nigeria. You can compare the 1952 figures with the 1931 one: https://www.nairaland.com/3400415/1931-population-figures-nigerian-ethnic 19 Likes 3 Shares

Wonderful Yorubas done use Wikipedia inflate their number. Secondly even TIvs, kanuri and Ibibio are more in number than Ijaws and urhobo. But revisionist theorist right from when Jonathan became president around 2011 now claims Ijaws are the 4th largest ethnic group in Nigeria according to editable Wikipedia. Kanuri as a matter of matter is tightly the 4th largest ethnic group followed by TIV then Ibibio. Revisionist media's has really spoilt this country. Hausa-fulani are taken as one now. 13 Likes 4 Shares |

theenchanter: Easily replaced immediately after the war by Chukwu. We are blessed. Do another independent ethnic census today, and Igbos would still top. Your Genocide plans failed. Try again if you can. 20 Likes 4 Shares |

pazienza: The last census noted that Igbos are still the most populous in the South. U now see y they keep chopping parts off and saying this is not igbo or that is not Igbo. We need to gathering data as of before the war. Those data were credible. 18 Likes 2 Shares |

Sunshineg5: Ibibio were one with Annang and Efik. They belonged to Calabar province. The Calabar province had three slots. The Annang took Ibibio slot. You can see that two Annangs were in the list, One of the Annangs took Ibibio quota. But the Ibibio didn't mind, they are brothers with Annang. You shouldn't be crying more than the bereaved. By the Way Eyo Ita took Efik Quota. But perhaps it's a matter of "give and take", because the Ibibio were somewhat compensated in the parliament secretary,as they took all the two quota for the Calabar province with no Efik on the list. The East was ran by technocrats. Every single move or appointment was well calculated, nothing was left to chance. 39 Likes 8 Shares

pazienza:lol, my troll mode got d better part of me. But what do u mean by easily replaced? when chukwu was easily replacing the east, did he went on sabbatical leave in the remaining regions? And I think every region in Nigeria is actually blessed... Finally, its only in weird nations like Nigeria that population matters in the politics/affair of the country, if Nigeria's politics is balanced, there won't be any reason to see things through bigotry tinted glasses. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

pazienza:Mr man Ibibio played opposition to Zik and he in turn refused to appoint them into his government Ibibio is different ethnic group from Efik on your list Ibibio is not new to Nigeria political system You guys marginalised the Ibibio because they had a separate party from NCNC Ever heard of United National independence party led by Avan Ikoku? 13 Likes 2 Shares |

theenchanter: I wouldn't know about others. The average Igbo man is too self absorbed on how to improve himself to notice others. But I found out that many groups in Nigeria are too obsessed with Ndiigbo, to work on improving themselves or minding their own problems. We tackled our population deficit head on after the war. That's the way we are. Chukwu is Merciful on his people. Do another credible ethnic census today and see the result. We lost millions to slave trade to Americas yet they were quickly replaced. 22 Likes 2 Shares |

Sunshineg5: Alvan Ikoku is an Igbo man from Arochukwu now, why are you not crying about Aro marginalization too? Are sure you are okay? Not every division within a province got ministerial posts. There were not enough to go round. But each province got their quota. 23 Likes 4 Shares |

pazienza: 2019 VERSION 2020 VERSION THE YORUBA IN BUHARI GOV HAVE REARRANGED THE POPULATION TO MAKE THEMSELVES MORE POPULOUS THAN IGBO. YET VIRTUALLY ALL YORUBA POPULATION ARE IN SW. IN EVERY STATE, AFTER THE INDIGENE IGBO ARE THE SECOND MOST POPULOUS. IGBOS CAN BE FOUND ALL OVER THE WORLD IN LARGE NUMBERS AND RIGHT ACROSS AFRICA, EVEN ASIA. SO HOW IS YORUBA MORE POPULOUS THAN US? THIS IS Y THEY TREAT POLITICS AS DO OR DIE, BECAUSE THEY WANT TO KEEP PEDDLING FALSEHOOD. 24 Likes 4 Shares |

pazienza:So why were your brothers crying that Awolowo didn't appoint igbos yesterday when Denis Osadebe made sure Western igbos had no other party apart from NCNC Should Awolowo have gone to Manufacture igbos into his government? Ijesha and some Yoruba clans were not also on Awolowo's ministerial list despite the fact that every Edo clan was represented. 9 Likes 2 Shares |
