Djibouti And Ethiopia Could Create Thousands Of Jobs by panafrican(m): 5:47am On May 23, 2020
An agreement between Djibouti and Ethiopia about the construction of a canal stretching from the red sea to Ethiopia through Djibouti would create ten of thousands of jobs and boost the economy of both countries.

I guess China's gonna be funding this as well?

It's gonna give Ethiopia that access to the Sea that it hasn't had since '93 when Eritrea seceded but I don't think both countries have the financial muscle to pull it off.
