tipscogreen:Yorubas are religious tolerance, do that make them a problem ?, You prefer Hausa Muslim that kills over little misunderstanding than Yorubas that prefer peace, relate with eachother and get married without letting religion get in their way to live a conflict free life. tipscogreen:Lol, that's why i like yoruba muslims, especially the ones who grew up in the south-west. But you see the ones who grew up in the north, just forget it. If eating it will not bring down the faith of a fellow christain, then it's okay to eat it. I would have their chin chin over their meat any day. With the rate I don't trust these our tenants self, I wdon't think I'll eat anything today. 2 Likes |

ikh777:1 Corinthians 8 King James Version (KJV) 8 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. 2 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. 3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him. 4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. 5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) 6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. 7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled. 8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. 9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. 10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; 11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? 12 But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. 13 Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend. Show me where it says we shouldn't celebrate with our neighbours I'm sure you won't justify your stupidity with the verses 4&5 1 Like |

I remembered this celebration many years ago, when my grandma would celebrate it as a Muslim. Though I have Christian parents, I never minded joining my grandma on her salah/Eid feasts. I never bought the BS story about Muslims sacrificing their food to idols. I love my grandma and that includes her food, anytime and anyday 6 Likes |

Well, should a christian receive favours from Muslims? Should a christian associate with Muslims? Many more questions like this but for me, yes, I eat with Muslims and I will be going to a captain's house to eat and be filled lol. There's love in sharing and living in peace. Just pray before you eat what people give you. Shikena. 1 Like |

Fasting is also prescribed in the 9th month in bible. And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the LORD to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem. Jeremiah:36:9 WE MUSLIMS FAST FOR ALLAH (GOD). WE OBEY HIM AND WORSHIP HIM ALONE 5 Likes 1 Share |

omonnakoda: walahi they don't know. and they are here shouting they can't eat Salah meat. especially the Christians in the North. Let love lead. love your neighbour as you love your self. they are your neighbours love them. bear no ill feelings towards them. for your destination is to make heaven and not to please man. Jesus Christ ate with Unbelievers he turn Unbelievers his disciples. and one of the greatest Apostles was once a great unbeliever. if Christ's love was not shown to him. he would have been condemned. God does not delight in the plight of sinners he needs them more than the righteous. and how do you turn Unbelievers to believer by SHOWING LOVE 1 Like |
