Good morning , I had a bitter experience with my 2 month old RX 350, 2007/08 where only two vents are cold while the other two are not. I called in a professional to look at it and put gas. 6 days after the same thing started happening? What’s the likely cause pls? ( the technician mentioned likely cause to be evaporator and that they will take out the whole dash board to fix) it sucks.

What’s your advice and how much is evaporator?

There won't be anything cutting or welding if and only if your compressor sitting hasn't been reconstructed previously to accommodate a different type 0f compressor.
