The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria keeps increasing daily as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) recently released a fresh update of the number of cases recorded in the country on Sunday 24th May, 2020.

The disease control centre made the announcement in a tweet via it verified Twitter page @NCDCgov, where it disclosed that 313 new cases of the ravaging virus were recorded across the country, bringing the total infectious cases in the country to 7,839 (Seven thousand, eight hundred and thirty nine).
